- I do have to say so far this year has been a reasonable start to the year considering its February as we all know January and February are tough months on the Southcoast so really pleased with the results so far hopefully it will continue into spring which is literally just round the corner.....
We are now getting lighter evenings which does make a difference and we haven't had to many cold days so far this year......Happy days.....
The Trident Startright Rig Bodies are performing brilliantly absolutely can't fault them in way.....coupled with Sakuma hooks I feel I have a deadly combination.......long may it continue....
I met lots of people on Town Quay this evening that have seen and do follow my channel which is really nice 😀
As for the fishing this evening its been quite good can't complain for the time of year although I wasn't on the corner say 50yrds down from it a good cast was getting me into the channel where I started to find a few dogs....a very enjoyable evening 😀
love it mate, another good video,nearly went there last night, decided on calshot castle, had 2 pb conger eels, whiting, pout doggies it was my best session so far

Now that's a venue I haven't fished yet done round the corner towards leep deep had a few rays from that spot but never done calshot what's the bottom like any snags to avoid ?

Alrite Carl yeah really expensive if ya get caught not worth it I always pay way over the time I've been there to be on the safe side I've caught 2-3 times just for under paying the time that I was there..........

good evenibg master dobbo, my name is BANDIT. May i ask do you need to cast far @ town quay? reason i ask is that due to my disability my casting limit is around 15 yds. is it worth the trip for me TIA BB.
my little lad picked up a few small fish straight over the railings, buut most do cast there i think to get into the channel

No you don't need to cast far infact a lot of the time I'm probably casting to far.......the majority of the fish caught are close in and I've seen this many many times
So this venue would be perfect for you !!!

The channel is a good.... but lots of times I'm out fished with anglers casting a shorter distance......

No licence required to fish town quay but make sure you pay to park your car there as the fine will be expensive
