I discovered Scorpions in the 70's inTrance, Virgin Killer albums saw them on Love at first Sting tour and several other times iam 63 now u have to give these guys a Hell of alot of Credit they still are kicking Ass 🎉
Seeing as Klaus has had recent spinal surgery, Bravo to him for making the effort to perform as well as he did👏👏Difficulty walking after such major surgery must have a big impact on his daily activities at the moment, and could be quite painful for him, but it's great that he's giving it his best shot. I think that comments made comparing him to the way Biden walks are quite mean to be honest. At his age, he has to be admired for his stamina and determination, not mocked

First time I see them in person in Abu Dhabi. I First heard their song still loving you from my father's cassette tapes.. I love the band since then and fell in love with MATTHIAS JABS. Now I am 43 and still in love with him❤

I was there! GA Left Side. I’m wearing sunglasses and a leather jacket! Amazing show! Klaus is underrated singer! His vocals are incredible and Rudy and Mattias bring on the guitar! Pawel heavy bass playing! And Mickeynin drums blew my mind 🤯 SCOPRIONS GAVE ME A CONCERT EXPERIENCE TO REMEMBER!!!🙌🏻

@@skullfracture22 You bet, been a Scorps fan since 1979 when Lovedrive was relaesed (the Uli era stuff was never played on radio) and always appreciate a good recording. Seen them many times, hope to see them one last time. Hopefully Klaus recovers fully from surgery, his voice was strained but still strong at times, the band as a whole rocked. Matthias kicked ass as always, his leads and fills are a staple and backbone to the live show. Thanks again, most fan recordings lack quality and direction but yours was clear and the sound so good I cast the video to my 75" TV and stereo system and rocked the entire show from your perspective. Cheers!
@@Stormluvr Funny story, on the elevator ride down to the show there were 4 older ladies going to see a country artist in Vegas and they were talking about how they had to secure their phones before entering the arena. They were dogging people like me who film and saying people should just enjoy the moment and live and people who record won't even watch it afterwards anyways. I did not say anything to them but I record my concerts so one day I hope to sit and watch them with my grandchildren in 15 years or so. In the meantime, I too watch my concerts on my big screen and denon receiver. I am happy you were able to watch it and enjoy it as much as I did filming.

But I thought he sounded very good!

Mikkey Dee bangin' that Motorhead DNA into the fold.
I'm 54...so this is my shit! This was fun to watch. I find it funny as hell to see a bunch of versions of me and my friends: overweight, some grey hair, and an alcoholic beverage, trying some semblance of air guitar and a head bang. Scorpions will always be a part of life. Metal rules!
And a side note: The Zoo was listed as being on Love At First Sting,which obviously is incorrect.

I seem to remember a story about Klaus having some kind of spinal condition that limits his stage movements. He can't hit the higher notes well anymore but he gives it all he has and that is enough. I was fortunate to see them back to back nights with a brand new band called Bon Jovi and then again with Dokken, Metallica, Kingdom Come and Van Hagar in Kansas City at Monsters of Rock.
I was at Arrowhead for that show. I thought these guys were the best act that day.
@@johnmarkthom They were still setting up the VH signs through the show...lol. I loved the energy of the Scorps but I think Van Hagar blew them all off the stage. Sammy climbing the lighting truss and he and Eddie running around like a madmen. Either way it was a really great show. We partied with Kingdom Come at their hotel and when they found out VH had arrived at their suite we all wound up there and I got to hang out with Sammy for most of the night. No cameras allowed sadly but it's a memory I will cherish forever.

They ALL had energy but Mikkey Dee is beyond energetic....he is the most intense performer I have ever seen....a rock god.....

The audience seems totally absent. Odd. This doesn't feel like a concert - more like a corporate commercial shoot.
Except for Mikkey Dee Scorps themselves also appear strangely stilted. Klaus´voice sounds flat, no energy at all. All in all this seems an empty, soulless cash grab exercise

I love Scorpions - I was at their concert a year ago in France. It was hard for Klaus - he stood holding the microphone stand, every fourth composition was played without vocals, they gave the soloist a rest, but the concert was super, and they waved the flag of Ukraine both on stage and in the hall!!!

But a question for the band. ...and where are the words from the song: "I follow the Moskva, Down to Gorky Park listening to the wind of change, An August summer night, Soldiers passing by listening to the wind of change." :-) It’s such cowardice, meanness and shame to rewrite your own “pretentious” song that you’ve been singing for so many years. Either have the honesty not to sing it, or if you do, have the courage to sing it as it was. And how do you do it - ... no respect, no honor, no pride. The Germans playing "cancel culture" is disgusting. :-)
