A ton of ice is definitely a must. Put a long handled coffee spoon in there and kinda of do an up and down mixing motion to create a bit of froth at the top ☺️
Vietnamese coffee is one of our most favorite coffees to have & a staple in our home. We also use 🥥 condensed milk 😋 Cafe Du Monde is a great alternative to Trung Nguyen.
Showed my grandparents this video bc they wanted ways to try stronger coffee and we ended up buying one of these filters! I'm so excited to give this method a try
@@cityinsect It’s another coffee brewing contraption. Instead of letting it drip down like the style in this video, you let the coffee grounds steep in the contraption. After it steeps you push down the filter to the bottom and then you pour it in your cup.
French press still works. What's important is ofc the ingredients and then the coffee to hot water ratio, to get that strong coffee. I personally use an espresso machine which works just as well. You can easily get the coffee, condensed milk and the dripper online if anything.
Bro I’m Vietnamese and my parents love coffee and used to make it with those things before I was born. When I was a kid I used to see those exact coffee grains in my cabinet and saw that coffee filter as well but I never knew what it was used for until now 😁
Hi Jeanelle I am a Filipina here in the Philippines and I appreciate what you bring to the table when it come to food content and food culture. It's national election day today and I'm just curious on your two cents about it since I know your family lives near me.
@@melodybaybayan17 The Cafe is actually very well known for their beignets, but they do sell their beignet mix and their coffee beans in very few store locations. I do know they carried them in the Vietnamese grocery stores all the time. I haven't looked there recently (not a big coffee drinker) so I'm not sure if they still carry them.

This was SO GOOD. Have you tried Vietnamese coffee yet? IT'S SO STRONG MMM ☕
I don’t think you finished it because u made it too strong
@rubxz actually vietnamese if it’s too bitter or strong you could add more condensed milk to make it sweeter and less bitter ^v^
Pls do a skincare
Your skin is clear and glowing 😌
Used to make this for my mom as kid in 80s but, my passed 9 days ago. Its weird how this came up on my feed. Happy coffee making.
Glad that you like our coffee:)
As a Vietnamese this looks very accurate to the real thing here in Vietnam
I grew up drinking VN coffee. I’ll have to try out your condensed coconut milk recipe for when I don’t want milk.

I am from South India and we use a similar thing to make our hot filter coffees ❤️
Vietnamese French coffee is strong but I love it! It can actually keep me awake lol
I’ll definitely want to try it someday. I currently have my french press I use every day

What's the technique she's using? Also she meant that she's to unscrew it a little bit after blooming to let it drip faster or what?

The filter and the coffee brewing looks something similar to the South Indian coffee that we drink

I would love to try this! Jeanelle, I really enjoy your videos, thank you for sharing your food experiences with us 💖💖💖
omg i just tried vietnamese coffee today (and pho :D) !! i won’t lie, it’s too strong for me but that because i’m not really a coffee drinker lol
Lmao we call it Vietnamese crack. It's basically a couple shots of really stong espresso and a ton of sugar. It gets you wired.
When she said do you want it the 4 town scene from Turing red played in my head
I have a couple of those filters but nowadays I just buy those Copper Cow packs, it’s easier and faster :P
😍 Iced coffee yummy
Their coffee is good.
Also try 'Trung Nguyen' Premium Blend coffee with Longevity Brand sweetened condensed milk.
Happy Mother's Day!
I am algerian 🇩🇿 and that's how we make coffee except that we don't use ice cubes
I honestly have had that coffee maker for a really long time and I’ve never seen someone use it online except you 😂 (I’m Vietnamese)
What's the name of the filter ?

Must also be Cambodian coffee as it’s the same concept there. 50 cents. I miss it :(
