    What is your favorite item you keep in your fridge or freezer regularly?

    Awesome video, Bunny. I am in the process of picking out a fridge for my rig. This was a great informative video. ❤🙂

    Appreciate your reviews that make sense. I am so overwhelmed when I look something up I am interested in only to find a technical video that dives into functions I will never use. I bought a camera over Christmas for taking out on our climbing adventures and just needed to know the basics since it is new. Every video I found was a deep dive into how to use the extra settings which I don't care to use. Maybe after I have gotten used to it but being able to use it first is more important. Dozens of videos and not a one was common sense. Thanks for being matter of fact, using tangible items and giving on screen graphics I can pause to read but also listen to you mentioning and be able to see to better understand. One of the best ways to help people like myself.

      I’m glad you found it helpful! I know not everyone needs every item every creator shows.. so instead of worrying about that i would rather give good common sense info to help people figure out what they are in need of.. and even if it isn't what i have i hope it strikes thoughts for them

    We ended up purchasing an auxiliary unit which tucks under the bus in one of the storage compartments and it has been so helpful for keeping drinks and other items which might be bulk items. Thanks for suggesting Setpower, we love ours.

    Honestly I’d use a freezer more than a fridge. You can always set out items to defrost that you need for that day in a small cooler

      i like having a fridge and a freezer for similar reasons.. but i have a lot of things like creamer, drinks, sauces that cannot be frozen.. so a good balance is nice.. the PT30 was perfect for this.. but i will be taking this for additional freezer storage on this longer trip

    I appreciate that you do things like this after all of the really bad things have been happening in the world. My family and I have been looking at getting a few things to make us a bit more prepared and one of the things that I mentioned was we needed something like this after having seen them on your channel. I’m not sure what size that we would need, what would your suggestion be selecting the proper size?

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  13 годин тому +1

      If you are looking in regard to preparedness i would find out what all you are trying to save based on your fridge size at home... if you have a lot of stuff you will need a larger fridge but if you are mostly trying to save just your essentials or medical supplies a smaller unit will work best. Think in terms of packing.. when you have a regular box measure it and then see if you can put all your things in there.. i like places like aldi when grocery shopping because they use this box system for packing out groceries so it helps you see how many things you can fit in a small space..

    Thanks for another instructive interesting video. Question: when it's fully cooled down, how much power does it continue to sip when it's not running 100% continuously?

    Thx for freezer review. I have a tall Dometic 25qt in my PMC cargo minivan camper that I use mostly as a 12v fridge (wasn’t my choice, but it basically works). I’m sure will die one day as they all do, so I’ve been looking around for what I will replace it with (not another expensive Dometic), maybe one of those duel zone types. In the mean time I was thinking of a C15 Alpicool to use as a freezer only because it could tuck in under my bed next to the van’s 12v socket in back corner that is only hot when van is running. I often prep a couple meals before leaving in my 3 cup pyrex pans to cook a hot lunch in my HotLogic while driving, but have wanted to prep more & freeze like you showed.
    Anyway, I’m going downstairs after lunch to measure to see if that setpowers on will fit as a better option. That ability to flip the side the lid opens on would be a game changer on all the places where it would fit! Keep this reviews coming!

    Wound up getting an Alpicool unit that size because I got it for next to nothing with sale, coupon, and cash rebate. Size is good for me. Kind of wish I'd held out for the Set Power. Better power usage, ventilation, & like the lid switch.

    Nice info, but you didn't go back to the insert and how or why to use.

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  13 годин тому +1

      It can be used or not used... depends on what you would like that is the nice thing about it.. for larger items like the large pork butt i had you can remove it or for smaller items and more insulation you can leave it in.. not required for use

      I know they were going live.. so any day now.. i cannot wait for everyone to be able to get their hands on this series.... glad to be a point of reference on the size model.. will be taking this on the road at the end of the month for a long journey to see how it works with the pt30

      Thanks… their chat is not available now but I did message them so hope to hear back from them. I had rather hoped to have one in the next two weeks… but I’ll make do. Might🤞be going to an area where the van will be locked into a spot for an entire week and living in it.( business trip) . No way really to move the van at that time.

    If doing this at a basecamp, could you freeze the inner plastic divider in a freezer and place it in the unit to speed up the temp dropping?

    • @martinolloy6100
      @martinolloy6100 12 годин тому

      she mentioned you can do this but wanted a true reading of the length of time without pretty sure. Normally she mentions cooling it off before putting it in the van is her preference to not drain batteries but this time doing that without the additional item would help to realize how fast the raw base model works. That is just as important to the rest of us.

    Having a large frozen item like that pork butt in your freezer will also help keep it cold and cost you less energy

  • @sussudioharvey9458

    Just a couple of suggestions. For visual sizing might want to place a soft drink can or other standard can in it. Also you have a tendency in some of your videos that with the power stations to just give the name … not the wattage it is. Different stations pull differently. So were you using a 600, 1000 or 1200? Saying Bluetti when some of your viewers are not familiar with the model by just looking at it …. Thanks

    • @sussudioharvey9458
      @sussudioharvey9458 13 годин тому

      My bad . I see later in the video that you did both. I have had the Bluetti 600 for over a year now and love it. Now that prices Finally dropping on the 1000 units thinking of upgrading. So do you still like the Bluetti or like another better? I’m also considering the Pecron 1000 since it has latest technology. But to be honest I just want a proven standard workhorse.

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  13 годин тому

      yes i always try to focus on the product at hand not so much the vessel for supporting it.. i usually urge people to always have 1000 watts for any fridge because different points of the year can tax power more or less...

  • @Rachel_3891
    @Rachel_3891 8 годин тому

    Isn't the battery protection there to make sure it doesn't drain your vehicle battery too low that it won't start? As in those voltage numbers are the point where the freezer will shut off to avoid pulling any more power. High meaning it'll leave more power in the battery before it shuts off and then low will drain it further down before it shuts off.

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  6 годин тому

      Mine can’t do that anyway, because it does not pull anything after the van has been turned off that was one of the features I really wanted on this van
