- Hey y’all! In this video, I will be doing Crochet Braids w/ hair by Freetress Braid. Sometimes the braid pattern can't always be the same and you have to think of a way to make the style work on the spot. For my client, I had to cover up a spot in her hair. Even if the first idea doesn’t work, try until you find the right one. People appreciate that in the long run.

Last time I got this done I had the waist length hippie crochet and she used 6 packs, waaaaay too much hair. This time I have 5 packs of shoulder length hippie crochet locks and it's still waaaaay too much hair. Can't even do a pony. Just braided them in sections for the first time for bed. Guess I'll use water and that lotta body honey milk mouse in the morning. Just been sleeping on it loose with no pillow case cause my silk one is dirty. Gonna try to tie these 6 plats up tonight. Well see cause it's A LOT of hair 😩 It's hella cute though. I put two twisted rolls on my best side and let the rest hang. People ABSOLUTELY love it ☺️ just gotta figure out best way to prepare for bed.

Why didn't you just put a braid down the middle that way you wouldn't have to worry about hiding her spot
She wouldn’t be able to do a middle part of I did that.

Nice one but how can I do it on patterns without a crochet but I have a needle and thread?
I believe you’d have to use a crochet needle. Local beauty supply has them.
Why did you do the braiding pattern so big?
If the braids were any smaller, it would cause her hair to break from the added weight of the crochet hair- the smaller the braids, the more hair you have to add. Now think about the size of the loop: the braids must be big enough to fit the loop through and hold it. If the braids were any smaller, the crochet hair wouldn’t fit or even hold the hair, which causes tension and then breakage.
