"How does one produce books cheaply and in large quantities?" ~Cyrus Albright, approximately five minutes away from inventing the printing press. I'm convinced that between him and Tressa, they'd have a model to equal Guttenberg and a whole resource, binding, and distribution system established in Stoneguard by the end of the year.
I think the point of Cyrus’ story is not about him developing as a person like most of the others. He is already a developed person, confident in his own talents. The point of his story is to uncover the true mysteries and the true lore of this game’s world.
@@TheNitr01 I think the part of his character development is about this theme contrast "Knowledge is power" VS "Ignorance is Bliss", what is the right way to use knowledge and seeking knowledge? how he can stick to his convictions as scholar as being kept challenged in these matters in the moral compass, his enemies were always scholars and for different reasons, the desperate, the twisted, the greed for power believing knowledge is power, thirst for knowledge eternally through any means necessary...the last one was the one, Lucia who mirrored Cyrus the most in the thirst of knowledge... Yes I love his story.
@@BlueWizardTraveller This is worded excellently! I enjoyed reading this quite a lot!! Also I'm glad to see how recent your comment is, I was fearing this fandom was dead
@@BlueWizardTraveller Indeed, the scene at the end of Chapter 3 added quite a bit to the plot of his story, especially the banter with Ophilia right after where she says “I never thought knowledge to be so…frightening…”
Oh Therion...
It's never too late for him, he can still become a scholar if he wants to.

His chat with Alfyn here seems out of place. Seems to fit more into one of Alfyn’s chapters. Curious as to why this is the time and place for it.
I thought something similar because it is at a 4th chapter. By this point, seems like everyone should know Alfyn better than to ask that
the part with therion is sad. really do wonder what've happened if he found better role models. someone should make their convo an AU~
This banter is disappointing save for Theiron and H'annit. I was hoping for more character development.
Don't talk shit if you don't even know how to spell H'aanit
