I like my Raleigh Ugo folding bike!!! Very good bike and good history. They were also making motorcycles from the year 1899- 1935.
There are a lot of other great bikes to buy. Tern has some beautiful designs .
For 2018, consider EuroMini by Zizzo. I have their top bike at 23 lbs and it’s only $400 as of this post. They have a $200 model that weighs 28 lbs.

Have two bmx bike but I need one of these
I wonder why the Dahon Mariner is 2 above the Dahon Qix. They're essentially the same bike, same weight, etc except the Dahon Qix has vertical folding + roll-while-folded capability.
Because it's way cheaper. My Mariner cost less than half the price of the Qix.
None of these specify max rider height or weight, which would bothbe useful pieces of information.
How is the Brompton not on first place when it's clearly the smallest folding bike and weighs almost the least

This is a very sorry review ... you should hv just rename the subject to "The Best Dahon Folding Bikes to Buy in 2017 ... apart from Brompton"... LOL! That shd give huge loads of justice to this lop-sided review of your's.
Extremely appaled that you haven't had your horizons expanded beyond the 4 models of Dahon ... at least .... the Brompton made in No.5 ... ROFL!!!!

What about the Allen Ultra X Carbon Fiber folding bike? It's the lightest in the world.
The Ultra X is too expensive and it was discontinued.

The Dahon Uno is one of the best folding bikes, because it's affordable, solid and one of the few to be coastal brakes only. Repairing wired front and back breaks can be a bitch and costly....I went through hell with that when I had regular bikes and moutain bikes. No thanks, Dahon definitely offers some of the better folding bikes plus Tern I've found is made essentially by the same company as Tern just spawned off Dahon....the president is Dahon founder's son lol, they're just supposedly "better quality" but It's really the same thing and another excuse to charge you more money when I can run with a Dahon for just as good quality for less money.
heavily biased towards dahon, it should be the best dahon bikes for 2017 as this is not a real view of the bikes out there.

It helps me get to work on time every day since I'm able to fit it inside of public transportation rush hour. The price is great too, people are always shocked when they ask me how much I paid for the fold up and I tell them "200". It's easy to fold and installation when it ships is insanely easy. All you have to install when the bike arrives is one foot pedal, everything else is done for you. I do recommend you carry some sort of wrench to tighten any loose screws on the handle bar and seat whenever they get a little bit loose. Other than that I think it's a fantastic bike. Easily fits in the home, can fit inside a car trunk and can even fit in subway rush hour.
