We lost and is not the best year for the franchise but proud of this tribute for the démon blond #10 after the game, all the players go to pay their last respects under the banner the Québec. Is in Mourning .. sry for m'y english 😬
those Montreal teams in the late 70's were stacked with talent , their D was big skill and nasty, there is no weakness in these teams, you could not ice a team with that much talent in today's cap world, people rem , when I played hockey minor league our equipment was not state of art like today our sticks were like trees, imagine Lafluer having today's sticks , equipment , sports science lol, he would of score 100 goals I think, lol
The Montreal Canadiens are one of the classiest teams in sports history. This tribute puts tears in my eyes as they honour one of their fallen soldiers. From a Leafs fan, R.I.P. Mr Lafleur.
My favourite Hockey player I saw him as a kid and I rember him his breakaway's and slap shots goals scoring . what a great great great Hockey player. I never thought I would see this day!
This ceremony showed the class of the Montreal Canadiens Franchise and how much the Canadiens fans loved #10 The Flower ...... Guy Lafleur! I was fortunate enough to be AT the game and watch Guy Lafleur and the Canadiens win the Stanley Cup in the Boston Gardens in 1977! The Canadiens swept the series 4-0! My Guy Lafleur moment came during that game when the TV broadcast was on commercial break and the Gardens was very quiet ....... I yelled as loud as I could, which was VERY loud, "GUY LAFLEUR"....... and from the other end of the ice where Lafleur was standing you could see him turn around with a big grin on his face and he turned and said something to Lemaire beside him and Lemaire laughed! And then the linesman blew the whistle and play resumed ........ I'll never forget that moment! 🦂💘 Les Canadiens
I was lucky as a kid, to watched this legend take flight to the ice , unfortunately only on tv. But still was able to see a hockey great in action.👏👏👏👏
We will miss you Guy, may you rest in peace and I hope that you, and all the great players who have gone before you are having an amazing time playing ice hockey up there in paradise 🔵⚪🔴❤💙🌸 🎗🌐🏆🏒 🇨🇦 🇫🇷 🇹🇭💈🚨🍁🌼👹
Holy Fucking shit Really off topic but right in the money. He sounds like a quebecois version of gene Honda from the United Center announcements... what the actual fuck.
No one in sports does tributes and ceremonies like the Montréal Canadiens…A beautiful sendoff for their greatest star
