I really needed this to get me back on track after suffering a bit of cabin fever due to being ill for the last four weeks!

Yes it works gaz i do it every day and my German friend parked next to me in our vans does it aswel 🤟💯
I'm a mechanic and anything with an electrical system works better when grounded well. We have an electrical system in our bodies. So there could be alot of validity to it.
Yes, it's scientifically proven.
I don't think there's anything to the electron stuff... but I have heard the thing about taking your shoes off and wiggling your toes as a way to deal with both jet lag and anxiety, so I think there's something to it psychologically for sure. And looking out at water is also confirmed to help relax people, lower blood pressure, etc. So keep on doing it even if nobody understands why it works :)

When we are out bush, prospecting, in Western Australia , your back is black with flies sometimes. I have to wear a fly net over my head as they drive me nuts!
When I was in WA (from NSW) I couldn’t believe how many flies there were. I’ve also been to a few properties where cows graze and there are untold numbers of flies. The veiled hats sure do come in handy.
@@jazzycool2950 wouldn’t go out without mine. We live in remote wa and there’s certain times of year they are bad.

The wether is the same here in Canada , very strange and a lot of fire , rain , thunderstorme , tornado near Montreal etc!!!
Here's something to think about, Gaz:
Footwear is a good example of societal philosophy in microcosm. Long ago, people worked with and around the natural world, respecting it; nowadays, they crush the natural world flat instead (which obviously is highly immoral). Hardsoled footwear, like modern society, crushes everything in its path uncaringly; conversely, softsoled footwear like moccasins necessitates one to watch where one puts one's feet, and molds each step to the terrain rather than crushing the ground flat.
An interesting bit of insight I stumbled upon while writing one day.

That took me back watching you earthing your feet,I went camping to an army reunion once and toilets was a mile from tent, so I had a pee outside tent door, partner came back shoes n socks off ,sat in chair outside tent door rubbing his feet in same spot, and he swore down it was meldrew, I on the other hand couldnt stop laffing lol did tell him day after lol , glad to see you n fendy back have fun xx😂

Grounding is so good for depression, I think rain on a tent is the best sound in the world. I think my Grandad used to put vinegar around the garden for the flies
Good for your parents brother. My mom and dad just had their 42nd anniversary this past week. My marriage only lasted about 3 months 😂😂. Problem is people now a day's always want something better or different and then realize the grass isn't always greener on that other side.

Ello ello, nothing beats going bare foot in nature feeling the earth beneath your feet and s9 true about water they say just 20 minutes been near water can boost your mood etc. I 100 percent believe in that..living the very simple life I do you really feel connected..the lake district sounds amazing, have an amazing weekend

Native peoples of North America believe strongly in Grounding and recommend it highly to balance the energy in your body. I have missed you and Fendi. My husband, when he heard you had suffered shingles, said "poor guy." He had a bad case of it in his 50s. Said he would not wish it even on his worst enemy. Enjoy! Hugs to Fendi.

I call it every day walking😁 I have owned 1 pair of shoes over the last 3 years, I only wear them in the winter. I am always grounded🙃 and if you come across wild garlic while looking for a spot to camp, stop there, the garlic keeps the bugs away

Little fact for ya. The human eye can distinguish more shades of green than any other colour. Its good to get out and just look at trees and grass. Its very calming.

I have never heard so many birds awake and chirping in the dark. We drink our coffee in a screened in porch in cooler mornings and the birds never chirp until 7am maybe.
