An excellent interview. What an absolutely brilliant, modest and humble man. As driven in his goal to progress dementia research as he was in his racing days.
What an amazing human being, the love and dedication between Jackie and Helen is something to look up to. And, you have made a huge difference re saftey, of which we have you to thank you. Hats off to you Sir Jackie.
What an excellent interview! So nice to hear intelligence, dialogue, and history told by such perfect gentlemen. Sir Jackie is a living legend. We would all do well to emulate his life and dedication to his lovely wife, Helen. Thanks for posting this video.
The man who I have adored since a young boy. Read his books applied his philosophy to my racing, and it worked. A utter legend in motor sport. One of the greatest of all times. 99 gp’s 27 wins. 3 world championships enough said. Go well Sir Jackie Stewart. 👍🇦🇺🥃
I started out being prepared to like the guy, because for me I find him slightly off putting, which was my starting position. I too can not recite the Lord’s Prayer despite attending a church school, repeating it daily. I too have a handling talent and don’t know why I can do things others find difficult. So discovering this aspect in common with Sir Jackie is amazing. I too always felt others should be better than me. Glad he felt that way. Having listened, I learnt something. I share the same problem, I don’t retain rubbish, if my life is dependant and my joy is dependant and it’s thrilling or dangerous, a door opens and I excel, So how odd I felt him off putting, and now I salute him. This interview changed my mind.
Nigel Mansell was boring off track but he was an absolute legend on track - probably the best ever. Jackie was boring on track and boring off track. Nobody will remember him, very sad.

such a gentleman, I love listening to interviews like this, golden olden years. Must've been beautiful to be present during those times.

I rarely sit and watch videos like these but this has me spellbound. Thank you for publishing it.
Superb. Thank you for putting this out. Some amazing gems in there.
It’s a privilege to listen to JYS.
There are not many interviews that you wish could have lasted another three hours or so, but this was one of them. :)
Great driver, Honest and to the point.
Sinceramente ...Mister Jack ....sempre um pedestal a cima...sem dúvida o Senhor do Automobilismo.
One word "Legend"!

Great interview!
top gentleman
Still the most articulate sportsman.
Can someone please help me understand the name of the Nordschleife curve Sir Stewart mentioned at 12:19?
The Masta curve or Masta kink wasn't at Nordschleife it was at the old Spa circuit.
@@boing615 thank you for the explanation, I wasn't listening carefully.
