I mean hey! I want to go into voice acting after all! But with how ai has been it's a worry that it may get too out of hand. Hopefully this video helps spread the word about the dangers of ai voices.

Honestly I didn’t know that AI was bad at first until Tomota and Zeez brought it to my attention. It’s just disgusting that people don’t care about the voices being cloned in question. Stay safe voice actors!
At this rate, I've had this idea for a couple of years since the rise of AI do you think it should be time for voice actors to start trademarking their voices?

What I'd prefer is if the people edited the voices to say stuff in the YTP style that was so commonly used. Take clips from the actors acting, and mash the audio together **manually** to create lines. While it still isn't the same as someone actually doing the acting, there's still tons of effort needed to make the mashup work. Plus, there's plenty of charm left because the person worked to make a result.
I knew it was bad, but I didn't know it was bad for VOICES as well, not until tomota mentioned it, back with the hunger games vid. I didn't think it was actually used... in a way that threatened others, becuase I thought it was just some silly little thing that didn't even work well...
It's absolutely crazy and disgusting that people continue to use AI this way...
I've been told that the videos are STILL up apparently, but i haven't confirmed this. Regardless, do not harass anyone mentioned in this video.

Why do we keep telling them to stop? You can't punish them in any significant way, so why keep going. Its just words to them.
It's so weird that the VA need to be the ones saying that they don't give consent. It should be the people that do the AI covers asking for permissions instead of forcing them to give or reject consent
I do feel there's a line between AI song covers and using an AI modulator to use someone else's voice to talk with. The first one is, to me, harmless fun that cannot fully replace a true cover (it's always dependent on an existing version of the song being sung, whereas a true cover has unlimited potential). The second one is downright creepy and too powerful a tool to be made so easily accessible.
But regardless, when a voice actor asks you to stop, you stop.
@@SobiTheRobot By cover I meant "to cover something", ya know? It was more in general, but I agree with you. Still, not every song or cover using AI is harmless, we saw that with that weird version of"Make believe"
@@SobiTheRobot It really dosent matter if one is intended to be used for light heard fun when the voice actors have specifically said that they aren't comfortable with it. That they dont like it and find it disrespectful. The issue is when these covers are being made using the voice of someone who's entire career is based on that voice, whether the video is monetized or not. If its a AI song of someone like Trump or something then it's considered harmless fun as that cover doesn't have the potential to ruin someone's livelihood.
Your Alistair and Jax voices are perfect! Also, thank you for addressing this serious issue. In no way, shape, or form should AI be used in place of an actual human voice for profit. Real voice actors need and deserve our support.

I’m starting to realize how big of an issue this is. These voice actors bring our favorite characters to life and they deserves so much better and they don’t deserve to be replicated or replaced by Ai.

@@Jammermt99no, impersonators require training, is an actual person putting in effort, and it still has its own charm. Ai is slapping a song into a program and having someone’s voice being used in a way they don’t consent to.
Thank you for spreading awareness about this!!! It just seems so wrong to not have real humans behind characters, and also a complete disrespect to creators. Also, first, seeing the amazing digital circus with TOH had me smiling, and then seeing Alastor just pop up had me burst out laughing!!!

As a voice actor myself, this hurts. It's awful to see AI replace everything nowadays. Especially writers and actors. Sure, a robot having the ability to recreate someone's voice and write a basic story, but that doesn't mean we should use it to replace people. I hope this situation gets better soon.
Also, Digital Circus and Hazbin Hotel videos in the future?! That sounds amazing! If you're looking for people to voice the characters, I can do some good impressions of Caine, Jax, and Angeldust. Can't wait to see what video you make next!
One big problem is legislating this without making the goverment spy on every electronic device in existence isn't feasible. So even without copyright being ded, we still have to rely on ethics of the viewers to not support unethical AI usage.. Even while the tech might be too good for most people to know if AI was used in the first place in some instances.

Thank you for addressing this. I've been thinking about becoming a voice actor and if someone had cloned my voice like that I'd be infuriated.
So first off, thank you for making this video and explaining the situation to more people. The use of AI voices is getting out of hand and especially when actors come out and say that they do not consent, only for others to ignore their wishes.

I highly doubt AI voice acting is gonna replace REAL voice acting, but I understand the fear people have for AI (Its one step closer to Skynet).

thank you for bringing attention to this because it’s something that’s bothered me too especially when people do not see the damage that it could cause. I can understand the fear that someone would have in situations like this and I appreciate your support for Michael and Alex. A lot of things never get resolved because no one says anything about it so I thank you so much for addressing this topic. I really hope this will help others to understand the fear these talented entertainers experience in these certain situations and try to avoid violating them or any other people.

Hearing someone say they felt genuine fear from an AI perfectly replicating their voice is really jarring but it makes sense. I mean I’m someone who gets freaked out if they stare at their reflection for too long, so imagine seeing a perfect clone of yourself and they start saying things that you would never say, that just SOUNDS horrifying.
Ai is terrifying for voice actors and artists alike. If it’s already producing realistic voice clones now, I hate to think what it could do in a few years.

Thank you for bringing this up tomotasauce if that’s your real name no amphibia, this is borderline illegal identity theft and this needs to stop immediately so whoever decided to do this you should be prosecuted and ashamed of yourself, stealing a voice is one thing, but having a voice sound exactly the same and making the same actor feel actual and valid fear is a whole new level of repulsion, in conclusion whoever decides to do this you are for the streets

Yeah, it's why I deleted my DeviantART account and all of the drawings on it. It drowned in AI and the fact you had to check a box just so your art wouldn't be used (it would probably use it anyways) didn't sit right with me. None of the art on the popular or reccomened pages were real artists anymore. I'm an aspiring writer and artist too and I've read stories about people having their names AI slapped onto AI books and that scares me. It's also really depressing when someone praises a robot's drawing more than the one you spend days or weeks working on. Ugh, I hate this whole AI thing.
(Also the songs slapped in the new episode and I love Glitz and Glam's designs)

I always see people on Tiktok post AI videos of characters from Helluva Boss singing different songs and, as good as they sound, I never can fully enjoy them because I know that the real voice behind the character is uncomfortable with it. Very nice video Tomota. I thought this was another pitiful, nothing fight, but after watching your video I realized, "Oh S**t this is actual serious business!" The way you handled this tough issue so maturely and respectfully just shows how much you truly care these shows and how much you idolize and aspire everyone creating them, especially voice actors. I 1,000,000% completely agree with you, and that should be considered a violation of privacy.
Also P.S. If Ashley Nichols, Michael's girlfriend and voice of Zooble from TADC too ever met the person who created the original video in real life, I definitely imagine she would beat the ever-living ***k out of that person.
A few days ago I brought up the fun idea of singing a modern pop song with a Kermit the Frog impression. A lot of my friends asked if I can just use AI and I genuinely don't want to and this is why.

Okay I know this is an important video but please do hazbin hotel videos when the season is done because that alastor voice acting was amazing and his interaction with belos made my day.
It’s legit hard for me to even wrap my head around how some people think it’s okay to not only replicate someone’s voice using a robot but then on top of that not tell them and pretend/tell audiences it’s real. Glad you’re doing an announcement on this!

At this point the government needs to delete AI apps or banne it because “Back in My Day”(2000’s - 2010’s) we didn’t need AI to reuse the same Voice actor to make other great show’s such as Transformers Animated or Ben 10 because What’s the point of Voice acting if they’re just going to take the fun out of it😡

I didn't even know this was an actual problem until now! I already was kind of on the edge on AI. I know that it can be really helpful, but some people just don't know how to use it correctly. But THIS!? Cloning voice actor's voices and POSTING IT WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT IS TERRIFYING AND GROSS. Thank you so much for posting this. It's a huge problem that needs to be figured out. I'm so glad that there are people out there that recognize a problem and do something about it. Always make sure you have consent. Also, I guess even Andrias fears Caine. Who doesn't?

Real, genuine voice actors and impressionists like yourself deserve attention and respect, and whoever is making/using these AI voices are denying you that right. On a different note, The Amazing Digital Circus is great, But have you seen Murder Drones? Michael was in that to. It's really good and you should watch it.

This video opened my eyes to how this is so similar to people making AI art to copy an artist, but on a way more personal scale. Like peoples art can be extremely personal to them, and that doesn’t make these two issues better or worse than each other, but your voice is *your* voice. Like wether you do an accent or a voice on top of your voice, it is still one of the most personal parts about you as a human. And I’m ashamed that it took this video to truly grasp how violating this is for someone
