I am a film producer, Organist and engineer. This video is exceptionally well produced. I would love to produce an Organ film but have never pursued it . It would be tough however to beat the quality of this production Bravo!Sandy Thomson Cinema Sixteen Inc. Burlington Canada

This is an exceptional presentation, so well written and filmed (or videoed). This organ is truly a work of art that deserves the expert care that it needs. I have such wonderful memories of this sanctuary on Steiner Street because when I lived in SF, I frequently attended Vespers services. Together, church and organ are San Francisco treasures.

My Great-Grandfather, Frank H. Mattern, made several photographs of St. Dominics shortly after the 06' earthquake. I have 3 8x10" glass plate negatives which show the remains of the gallery and organ scattered on the sanctuary floor. Pipes and action parts are clearly visible. As I am an organist myself, I look forward to the restoration with great anticipation.

Those slides would probably be interesting to the people at the Organ Historical Society if you have digital copies they can be uploaded to their database record for this instrument.

+Patrick Saxon It's Trumpet Voluntary aka Prince Of Denmark's March from Jeremiah Clarke. Very similar to David Johnson's Trumpet Tune in D and John Stanley's Trumpet Tune Voluntary in D.

After replacing the console thanks to a generous donor, the pipes were all restored, the Roger Digital Organ is no more, and this magnificent instrument is once again singing. :)
