Thanks so much for watching! If you’re interested in finding out more about the capital of Guernsey St Peter Port I have a whole playlist all about it: ua-cam.com/play/PLgfR64_vRGksl7Kpdf6K8yh6nMkhrfckT.html
My husband and I visited Guernsey a few months back. Fell in love with the place. We sent a few postcards to folks back home. The older people in the family love it when we send them a card. We were shocked at how quick they arrived. You post service is so efficient. Normally they get them once we are back home. They got them the next day after we posted them!
Having just read, "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society," describing life during the German Occupation, WW2, I was delighted to come across your presentation of this lovely island. Thank you.
I was walking around this area about 3 weeks ago. Good to see the wind has subsided. Yes, my husband sent 2 postcards when we were on Guernsey! I love that hat on the postbox as well. Will certainly be back.
Love this, nice new footage and a very high quality. Doesn't look very busy, surprising for the time of year. Market Square reminds me of the new market square in Leicester, ours is larger but has that same feel. Miss Guernsey terribly but your input keeps me up to date. Please keep up the good work!
Great video as usual, Ross, on this day in Guernsey ( 21st June ) we were married in St Joseph’s Cordier Hill, 48 years ago, have been back three times since, can’t wait to get back to the Island .
When I recall the best places I have ever seen, I May speak from some Austrian town, Spanish plaja or even some French magic place like Annecy or Arras in the North but what I always tell the People is The best place for me ever is the Island of Guernsey !!
More I watch your videos, more I want to come back again. I will spend one week in July in the campsite of Les Fauxquets ! First time in summer for me…
Thanky for the video Ross! About the alcohol free zone at Town Square: I think that alone would have been enough, stupid to remove all benches (where some drunken idiots used to spend their day). Its unfair for all the other people who might like to sit down and wait for someone who is shopping or something. I often sat on one of those benches. Without alcohol.
Like Guernsey been ther for day ones raining all day I went to chip shop just on hill for pie chips gravy u should do all churchs in look inside and out Guernsey
Ok so third time you’ve gone past tbe victor hugo bronze statue by the town church He’s depicting his “Toilers of tbe sea book “ that he wrote in Guernsey Tbe Octopus is featured in the book As “ Tbe Devil Fish “ Yes I lived there ..born there .. And yes those grey buses were I “ island tour buses back in tbe day “ Thanks Ross
Very Interesting and beautiful island. One of our neighbours used to visit Guensey and he loves it still. Is that right is very expensive to live there, I've heard? Thank you for shearing such beautiful places, bless you. Ps. I like the guiness record pub... it made me smile being so close to the church they might sell reduced holly comunion😂. That will make you smile, too.

Cheers Ross. I live in Hastings now. Left Guernsey in 1985. Looks so familiar even with the changes

The bus remind me of guernsey when I been on holiday in the 60s ❤ guernsey 💯
It looks to me like an old "Guernsey Motors" bus, The red ones.

Wow that’s amazing to hear 🇬🇬🙏
And thanks for the bus ("Greys")! My childhood.
I have watched a few of your St Peter Port videos. I have never seen the Bucktrouts store come up. It was where my Father worked in the late 30's.
I attended Elizabeth College back in 1998. It's nice to see that Guernsey hasn't changed much since then

Sorry, just noticed there is still one bench.
Just a wonderful place, nice video! And I never saw one of the old buses before, great! 🙂

Average house price £637K. And you dont get much for that. Food is expensive as many items are shipped in.
Hi! Planning to revisit my beloved Channel Island… When is the beat month of the year to do so? Thanks!
Probably summer time shows the island off the best 🇬🇬👍

How do you record your videos?
