By offering her dress and Tina wearing it, it was like Kitty was saying that she may be a cheerleader but she stands with the members of the Glee Club. Take it as you will :)

Let’s talk about Kitty for a second. In the beginning of the season she was an awful person but her character development changed her into someone who would give up their prom night for their friend. Her acts of kindness in this scene warmed my heart. She gave up her gorgeous dress for the happiness of Tina.
Blaine is really the savior and glue of the group, he’s always there for everybody, always saves the situation AND always have those inspiring pep talks... he’s just amazing ❤️
Everyone thinks Rachel Mercedes and Santana were the most talented characters but they forget about Blaine. He’s definitely in top 3 when it comes to talent.
Personally I hated Kitty. She literally bullied Marley into developing bulimia. But then she did this for Tina. I think, if you factor in that Kitty was going through her own stuff and was genuinely concerned when Marley passed out on stage and she was willing to give up her dress to save Tina’s prom night, and that she confessed everything when they thought there was a shooter loose in the school, I think she’s redeemable. When you strip away the mean girl, you find a good person underneath.

Still mad that Kitty didn't slay in one of the old dresses from previous performances after lending Tina her dress but like the fact that she gave her the dress and even pulled bobby pins out of her own hair to do Tina's updo like we love a queen
This scene is so perfect... Like whether you like or dislike Tina she is a part of the glee family and is treated as such.. The small moments of this scene sums up how yeah these characters aren't perfect but the one thing that they always get right is standing up and being there for their glee family... And for a character like Kitty, a character known for being the stereotypical popular girl whose obsessed with looks, to not only give Tina her dress but then go back into prom in gym clothes just to be there for Tina and the others is such a big moment for character development... Also the fact that she didn't make a big deal about it.. This scene is simply perfect

This scene is so perfect... Like whether you like or dislike Tina she is a part of the glee family and is treated as such.. The small moments of this scene sums up how yeah these characters aren't perfect but the one thing that they always get right is standing up and being there for their glee family... And for a character like Kitty, a character known for being the stereotypical popular girl whose obsessed with looks, to not only give Tina her dress but then go back into prom in gym clothes just to be there for Tina and the others is such a big moment for character development... Also the fact that she didn't make a big deal about it.. This scene is simply perfect
this is one of the reasons why glee is my comfort show
some glee moments are so sweet it really just makes me feel all warm and cozy inside
Kitty started our as borderline evil and became the best character on the show heart wise.
