    Wow! I could NOT believe it was this simple. I've been putting this off, thinking I might have to call in a 'handy man' because I had messed around with these adjustment screws before and only made matters worse.
    After watching this video (twice), I was able to correct the gaps in my doors in less than a minute! This simple little video saved me a pocket of cash.
    Best of all, this makes me look like a genius in my wife's eyes!

    Very cool video, but can someone tell me how to adjust it's speed?
    Like can the door closing speed be controlled/set (the speed at which the door closes)
    Can it done or not and if yes then how?
    I have dozens of these hinges installed at my home but my stupid workers have no idea about it

    What happens if there is no mounting plate screws? Looks like I've got the old fashioned type with just 2 screws. I want to lift the door up a few millimetres on one corner where the 2 doors meet.

    • @HettichEnglish
      @HettichEnglish  2 роки тому +1

      Hello! The old mounting plates were not height adjustable. They were mostly made of plastic screwed on tightly or pressed in. So you would have to change to a current hinge including mounting plate with height adjustment. Feel free to contact our customer service if you need more information! (info@hettich.com)

    • @HettichEnglish

      Hello! The cap that covers the screws on the hinge arm is simply clipped onto the arm. It can then be removed with a fine slotted screwdriver. To do this, lift it slightly from the side.

    • @HettichEnglish
      @HettichEnglish  10 років тому +3

      Dear ByronMason1,
      there are some things you could look for:
      It sounds as if the cabinet might not be perfectly upright. > You could check if the side panels are absolutely vertical. Might be that simple ;-)
      If not: Are all the mounting plates perfectly fixed to the sides? > Check if they all touch the surface of the side panels.
      Do all the mounting plates have the same distance (thickness)? > There is a figure empossed in the mounting plate; "0", "1.5", "3",... You can see it when taking the hinge off.
      In case you have used the hinge adjustment already, please do not forget to reset it.
      Best regards,
      Your Hettich UA-cam Team
