Thanks for this. Loved the inclusion of before/after at the end. Timestamps if anyone wants:
0:40 product box + contents displayed
    0:50 no mutes
    1:40 with mutes
    2:26 before/after mute

Thank you, yes they work pretty good at keeping the noise down when you just want to practice.

Great demonstration Dan, thanks. The pads dampen the sound of the drums and cymbals until it sounds like your banging on a cardboard box. The snare sounds the best. I wish the pads let through some of the sonorous tone of a tom drum head or ringing sound of the cymbals. I think it would work better if the pads were UNDER the snare and drum heads and under the cymbals. This way, the stick would still strike the head/cymbal and generate a natural sound, before being dampened underneath.

Yes, the sound isn’t that great but it is good for practicing when you don’t want the neighbors to hear and complain. I used to have a drummer who put mesh heads on his acoustic set and used triggers for different drum sounds. To play out he would line out to the board and also have his own monitor amp. It was very quiet ( except for cymbals) but worked well because he was a very hard hitting drummer. Thanks for Watching

One thing that I did with my drummers kit with the medium Tom to get rid of the ringing was taken the ring off and cut an old t shirt to a little bigger than the drum head and put it on top of it. Then tune it up. I couldn't get a sound I liked with the resonant head on no matter how I tuned it. But when it took it off completely it sounds great now I think

Will that ride cymbal mute fit on a 21 inch ride?

@@JayKayEllEmm This cymbal is a 20” and it fits pretty snugly. I don’t believe it would fit a 21.

I have set of mutes like those, different brand, same idea. However when I am playing hard, the mutes have a tendency to "walk off" the batter head. Have you found a method to prevent that?
      Thanks!
