Great content. Needed to hear this because I just wrote a huge list of 15 ridiculous goals I had recently and now I just went back and crossed 10 of them out (moved to avoid at all cost list).
Only 4 left and 1 above all else.
Great work Sabri keep em coming

I’m consulting UA-camrs for more than 7 years now, and I consume content like a mad man for more than 12-13 years on this platform.
    Ditch the editing.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving it. It’s pretty clear you have a great crew behind it…
    But, it’s too exhausting.
I tried to binge watch a couple of your videos, couldn’t resist to finish even the first one.
I said, ok, let me listen to Sabri now that I’m driving, and I don’t have to watch - just to listen.
    Also, again, too exhausting.
Man, I know you for years. You talk boldly about epic stuff, but it’s just too overwhelming to keep up.
Ironically enough, this is a video on energy, which you’ve drained me of :))))))
Don’t book a consultation with me. Just test the more relaxed, natural and authentic format. You’ll be surprised.
You’ll manage to finally connect with your audience, and this is the missing puzzle.

    1) What to focus on
    - More impt to work on the right things, than to work for long duration of time.
    2) Feels like play. Looks like work.
    - If u want to be world class at smth, u need to constantly be tinkering away at it.
    - Always be learning a new skill, that is connected to the primary thing u're doing.
    3) Manage Energy, Not time.
    - Hour of Power. Accumulating short intense Sprints, than it is for just grinding away for hours on end.
    - It's abt the Output, not the hours.
    4) How to Focus:
    - Focus is abt "What u choose to say No to".
    - Create Moat around yourself, or a situation where it's very difficult for things to come in & distract u from the main goal.
    5) Don't Quit.
    6) Circuit Breakers:
    - How to Recharge your energy for Max Productivity? An activity u do throughout your day, week, year, resets all static energy throughout body & get a 2nd wind after complete fatigue. Eg. Workouts. Sit down & plan when ur holidays are. Instead of waiting till u need a holiday.
    7) Have Fking Fun
    - Don't worry so much, things are far less risky than the outset.
    - Society is constructed in a way, that it builds things up to be far riskier than they are. It wants u to be conservative.
    - Savour every moment, & maximize amt of fun u have.

It’s weird because I know how good you are at hooking attention in the first 10 seconds. So I don’t know if you’re actually giving amazing advice anymore. Especially when you talk about “working hard” and the lean startup has disproven that.

Good Practice - However, I own a company and most of the contractors we hire, dont really complete their work on time, and sometimes you pushing them to do the work. So my question is what if it takes you 5 hours to have another person do the work but you can do it yourself in 2 hours, what would you do ?

    • @SabriSubyOfficial
      @SabriSubyOfficial  5 місяців тому

Hire the contractor. As 2 hours of your time should create way more leverage.

I haven't worked on my project for days because the work wasn't fun for me. I thought I lacked discipline and I would beat myself up if I didn't feel like doing work. However, I read a powerful quote in this video that said, "If you're not having fun, then you're doing it wrong.". That completely changed my perspective on work, and allowed me to think through and change plans.
