This build is perfect for dealing with Ayre. Spent an hour trying to dodge the melee attacks with the tank body and just now thought to look at a way to do this better. Thanks a lot!
The most threatening thing about Ayre isn't any specific attack, her health pool or her damage. It's her almost bs movement where she is basically using instant transmission the entire fight to get behind you. I can beat her pretty consistently these days but it's never enjoyable because it's always a mess where I spend half of the fight just trying to track her. Any tips?
There is a soft lock and a hard lock state. If you move your mouse or analog right stick, it goes out of hard lock to soft lock. For bosses that move alot like Ayre and Cel 240, hard lock is 10 times better since it stays on them at all time. Makes the fight easier.
Both mouse and keyboard and controller have access to softlock and hardlock. Just hard lock, and don't touch your right analog stick, or move your mouse. A tip: holding the mouse in the air works with hardlock.
@@OUSAYT holy shit dude just tried it out and yeah it absolutely works like that with controller. This now goes from one of my least favorite fights in the game to one of my favs. It's like day and night difference.
Had a nasty time till I found the auto lock broke if you move the mouse. Went in with new information and won with a full repair kit first time. Thank ya mate.
The combo switch to phase 2 is what always gets me. The BS part is that you cant interrupt it AT ALL. Even if you manage to ACS overload her, she will just continue to attack you. EDIT: managed to finally toast her with this build after 3 freaking hours, thanks man.
Thanks for the tip about Hard-Lock breaking if you move the camera. That’s a huge pain for mouse & keyboard users. It’d be much better if Hard-Lock only broke when you turn it off manually, imho; at least as a toggle-able option.
Nice tips, Ayre is a very tough boss! Is so difficult to follow her, cuz she´s too fast and confuse your eyes with the blurry red trace. Is a very damn hard battle!!!
@@OUSAYT Not yet, i tried for 3 hours yesterday, i gave a break, but won´t give up, will try again later. Tks again for the great tips! PS: Sorry my poor english. Take care!🖖
her name is said AIR. Its spelled AYRE. Also, there isnt a single boss in any soulsbourne game that comes even remotely close to how bullshit Ayre is during this fight. No boss moves that fast, that frequently. No boss has that much health and defence. Nor do any of these bosses of invincibility phases.
@@ACMEsoul917 Yes. Still not even close, are you kidding? You don't get IFRAMES in armored core. I killed Midir in like 2 days of attempts. I spent a week on Ayre, and nearly quit the game because they completely inverted the logic on how to fight the bosses. No vertical movement in the first phase, you actually WANT to be heavier to dodge because being to fast pushes you into her ridiculously wide overswings, and unlike every other fight where getting some distance gives you breathing room, you need to be up in Ayres face at all times until the second phase where you dodge her shit by jumping. Never mind that this was the first time where I felt punished for being MnK over gamepad because her arena wide teleports actually punished you for not locking on for the first time in the game (something that is weirdly dialed down in the true boss ending, which is equally as BS but purely because of sheer amount of shit it throws at you). Midir is a hard boss, but Midir is not the same. No invulnerability phases, no shields, no teleports, no lightning fast melee comboes. Midir is easy in comparison.
@@TheJML1975 Yeah, honestly Consort Radahn is close but at least we have s and shields that can actually block more than a hit or two. It did not take me too terribly long (like... within 4 hours of attempts) to beat radahn, but even then I could tell I was making progress and just wasnt figuring out the phase transition.
Stun Cannon made ALL the difference. 3 tries after that. First time just lost. Second time I accidentally unlocked from her during the second phase and I literally couldn't find her again to lock on until she killed me. 3rd time got a comfy kill on her.
I hate that this build works. I used the gills and fermenzia er w/e parts n its a lil more movment. The whole time i was trying to out manuver her...you made me realize thats futile and i got it first try with a heavy build🤦
I guess I must suck at this tried the build but I keep getting my guard broken and trying to dodge the slashes are harder with such a heavy frame to lug around and having to either die or reset the fight along with the hours of deaths before finding this video….im at the point I might just crack my own teeth raging over this crap
To any keyboard and mouse users watching this... learn to lift your mouse off the table after you lock, or you will probably never beat this boss. At least not with this strat. I'm sorry but this game's support for KB&M is trash even by From Software's already low standards.
"Take your mouse off the mousepad." Yeah great game design... Oh but you don't want to use hard lock? Oh then you just can't track her and lose. Lol this fight is such a joke.
Im just not good enough to beat it basically. I have everything unlocked & beat the game twice already on the other endings but i just cant beat her, i tried 100 times already

6:32 What?! It doesn't work that way for controller. So mouse and keyboard will just do all the tracking for you?

Just... Thank you... Now I never have to dread fighting that c weapon ever again.
after 2 hours.. this build worked on the first attempt. TY!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Dude. Solid build. Changed a few armor pieces up but the weapon layout smoked her in two tries. THANK YOU

Wow, that tip with the mouse did the trick. Kinda bs that I have to stop using my mouse for a bossfight, but here we are ...
Top notch strat thanks man!!
Defeated her on my second try with this build. Thanks!
Thanks dawg, been stuck for a minute, got it first try. I think the main thing was that I had to reset my OST chips and put them into kinetic
Can someone please explain the headlock glitch with controllers?

Yeah, i know!!! Most of the time it is not needed unless the boss moves a lot then it comes in handy!
First time i looked up how to kill a boss and because of this i sent her to the shadow realm. Never been so frustrated at a game before 😂
Soon as I switched to this Victory ty so much
I was stuck on this boss for ages, my normal speed build kept running out of ammo and thanks to this I finally beat her
Awesome!
did a save backup & got spent from arquebus balteus fight so thanks very much for this. defeated her in my third try 👍
Thank you so much for this build it helped me beat ayre on my second real attempt!
Nice tips, Ayre is a very tough boss! Is so difficult to follow her, cuz she´s too fast and confuse your eyes with the blurry red trace. Is a very damn hard battle!!!
Thats true, you gotta go for that lock on to make it easier, hope you got it done ✔ 👍

Even with this build I can't beat her.
This build killed me too many times so I cheesed it with all tank body

Have you met the final shadow of the erdtree boss? 😂
Have you fought Medir?

@ You mean no vertical movement on your part or her part?
This helped alot! I had gotten frustrated af
Glad it helped :)
And how do u have this unlocked by the time u get to it?........
Hour later and never did anywhere near as much damage as you did, andstill couldn't dodge her attacks.
This build is illegally good wtf💀 First tried her after switching.

i generally avoid gattling as they are just too op. every boss is easy when u use them
Fair game 🎮
I dont see the allula (have beat game before) still worked
