This compact quilting frame for a home sewing machine is perfect, not only if you are limited on space or budget, but if you are simply wanting to get into free motion quilting on a frame and you don't want it to take up a large footprint.
The Grace Cutie Tabletop Quilting frame has so many things going for it!
    -Fits most sewing machines
You can use it with your domestic sewing machine, however, if you move up in sewing machine later on, perhaps to a mid-arm or long-arm machine, you can still use the Cutie Tabletop Quilting Frame.
-48" wide by 38" deep by 11-3/4" tall, designed to fit on a table or even a counter!
-Versatile! This compact frame can do small projects as well as large projects, like a king quilt.
-Sturdy! The base of the frame has a rubber pad that "grips" the surface. No moving about.
-Easy to store! This quilting frame is only 30 pounds! It does not need a designated spot. Because it's light weight, you can easily move it to where you would like to quilt and then put it away when you're done. It's small enough to hang on the wall, store in a closet, under a bed - you get it! :)
-Adjustable handles! This allows you to quilt in comfort. The handles can lay horizontally or vertically. This reduces strain on your hands and wrists. The handles can also move from the front or back of the frame, depending on your preference.
-SureTrack dual-wheel system! Free motion quilting has never been easier! Your sewing machine glides effortlessly because of the dual-wheel system.

I have the cutie and the new Rebel machine quilted my first quilt ,at first I was hesitant but once I decided to just do neandering that made it easier to flow the quilting process, my first one was a queen size 😊👍🏻 I would love to have a wider frame some day though! I will be making more baby quilts and wall quilts show quilts hopefully! It's also nice to have sewing stations set up I do have a large room for them!

I just bought a Cutie. I look forward to using it once I have quilt top pieced together! I will be putting it on my dining table that seats 8. I should have plenty of room for my quilt to spread out without hanging off the table. 😊

I finally have my Cutie put together and I have a Bernina 770 with a stitch regulator. It has an 11 1/2 inch throat and fits nicely on the frame. I have enough fabric to make a sample quilt to do some practicing.

My machine is a Bernina 530-2 Record, can I use my machine on this frame, before I buy the frame, I live too far from any shops that stock this frame.

I am looking for something like this.
My sit down quilter was great, but the older I get, the harder it is!

So, your idea of a home machine and mine are different. I tried to put my Brother SQ on the carriage. It doesn't work. It made me sad.
My husband bought me another machine.

I set up my Juki on my Grace table top. the stitches were so wide and not at all what they should have been. I adjusted the tension and it was worse. What am I doing wrong?

Good morning I need information on your quilting frame! I have a Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 and need to know if it will fit your Cutie frame, before I buy one

    • @SewingPartsOnline
      @SewingPartsOnline  Рік тому

Technically, it would fit; however, Grace recommends that your machine has a larger throat space, minimum of 8". The 9960 has a 6.5 inch throat. You would still be able to put it on the frame, but you would be moving your quilt very often as you would only be able to sew small areas at time. I hope that this helps. www.sewingpartsonline.com/grace-company-cutie-tabletop-fabric-frame

I live in Canada and bought the Cutie frame...have to assemble yet. I know that the table top needs to be at least 48" wide x 24" deep...or am I wrong.
I may have to buy a table to put it on. I have just purchased a Lifetime adjustable table 48" wide x 24" deep

will a Juki 350QVP fit on the carriage?

I will have to look into that and get back to you. It fits machines up to a 19" throat.

I double-checked with the manufacturer, and they said that model of Juki only fits the Juki Virtuosa Frame. We carry other mid and long arm machines compatible with Cutie.
