All my puzzle accessories come from the Dollar Tree: poster boards, foam board, gift boxes and cookie sheet for sorting and a colander for shaking out puzzle dust. I only do 300 pieces and an occasionally 500 piece puzzles. I don't do larger puzzles because the pieces are two small for me to handle. So I can't see myself purchasing anything like that. But the those latches would be a deal breaker for sure!

Oh my goodness… seeing this review definitely affirmed I have found THE PERFECT PUZZLE BOARD for me… in my opinion… I searched and searched and finally told my husband that he was going to be buying it for me for Christmas 😂😂😂😂! He got it on Amazon and I will leave the link at the end of this comment… it’s a molded plastic with 4 deep drawers. I can easily fit 3 pieces deep in the drawers and they are huge! The plastic was a smooth so you can slide big sections of pieces around my n it and it makes sorting very quick. The edges of the board have a slight curb angle also so you can carefully slide piles of sorted pieces directly into open drawers. All the drawers are interchangeable. I’m sure you can easily stack them too also though I haven’t tried to do that. It comes with the same heavy “mousepad” cover which is great! It also comes with a lazy Suzan. You can attach the lazy Susan but I have not yet and the board easily rests on it without attaching it and I can spin the board to work on any section I need to as well as access all the drawers without having to get out of my chair or crawl to the other side of my dining room table. It isn’t too heavy and I easily move it before and after dinner every night. It truly has far exceed all my expectations in a puzzle board.

I lucked out about a year ago and found a puzzle board with drawers at a local charity shop for $2 (USD)! I also use foam board from the dollar store, either taped together for larger puzzles or cut in half for moving sorted pieces around.
This was a great thorough review with your pros and cons.

I really enjoy videos about puzzle products, accessories, tools. Thank you for sharing. I have always lived off of foam boards from Dollar Tree or tri-fold foam boards from Walmart (cheapest tri-folds I've found so far). Tri-folds are great since I can fold in the sides to protect the puzzle. I recently got a tabletop easel to place my foam boards on to allow tilt. Foam boards don't have much friction, but do have enough for a slight tilt. I have collected a fair amount of various puzzle trays too, and will line them with cut foam board or card stock paper that has been cut or taped to size, so I can lift groups of pieces out for transferring with ease. In general I also use card stock paper for moving large groups of pieces around.

I love foam board. I use that most of the time and it has always served me well. Also love that you can easily rotate it.

Of the two puzzle tables that you have reviewed, which one do you still use and recommend? I am new to puzzling and really want to purchase one of them. I notice that the Newverest is currently unavailable on Amazon, but looks like the best one of the two. Just wanted your feedback now that you have had both for awhile. Thanks.

I still use both. The puzzle table I use when I'm watching tv in the living room. however I think I'd recommend the Newverest one if I had to choose. There's a lot less maintenance and it's easier to clean.

Thanks for the quick reply. I contacted Newverest company and unfortunately they advised that the table will no longer be available for purchase. Guess I will have to look for a used one or possible purchase something else.

Thank you for reviewing this board. I live by myself so I can have a puzzke on the dining room table at all times without bothering anyone. I like to be able to rotate my board to access different sides of the puzzle so I just build on cardboard or foam core.
I use cafeteria trays (good advice from a puzzle friend) that can stack and move around easily. I do sometimes have trouble with big puzzles finding a place to put my trays on the table

I got this puzzle board right after seeing your first video. I have some of the same frustrations with the drawers but I took off the part of the hardware on the drawer itself. I don't move the board - so that works for me. I love the mousepad cover. I can be working on a puzzle and then put the cover over it in order to play a board game. I like that the pad is thick enough not to indent when playing the board games we have. I could imagine you might feel the puzzle if you had a board game with heavier pieces but it works well for us. I probably would not have bought it at $100 but since I was able to purchase it on sale, I am very happy with it.

I think that is what I'm going to do too. The latches were good in theory.

It's so hard to find your puzzling space "peace" - I feel like to really get what I need/want I would need it custom made!! I have the lazy susan kind and love it, I also mostly keep it on a card table and don't move it about- 50$ on Amazon and I'm deff content at that price. Ideally Id love a puzzling space and have a surface I can tilt up, but then id miss being able to turn the table- maybe a bit of everything LOL

I also have the lazy Susan style puzzle board and love mine. After using it on a coffee table for the first month I decided to I needed an adjustable laptop table on wheels. This way I can roll it to my work space but also move it out of my way easily. I like the height settings too.

I appreciate you saying how heavy it is. Looking for one for my mother-in-law. Being heavy is a deal breaker. Thanks!

I just use a piece of vinyl marine cloth on top of a wooden drop leaf dining table. Originally I bought the marine cloth to act like a table pad under table clothes for nice dinners but the marine cloth has been perfect for puzzling. I don’t typically do sorting but if I need “trays” I use 9”x14” foam boards.

I bought the same puzzle board on sale for around $50 around 2 months ago. I love it but have some of the same critiques as you did. The latches are annoying on the drawers which is my biggest complaint. I have done maybe 20-30 1,000 piece puzzles and they have all fit perfectly. I don’t own any 1,500 piece puzzles, but I would be worried about them fitting on the board. The fabric is awesome and easy to keep clean. The cover is my favorite and keeps my two toddlers and two cats from messing with my puzzle. My cats were notorious for sliding puzzles off the table prior to having this. Overall very happy with my purchase!

I think for $50 it is well worth it. I like having the extra space when doing the 1000 pieces on it. Not sure if I'd like it as much if it was a 1500 piece puzzle.

I use a bulletin board that I painting the chalk side white.. light weight, easy to store. easy to clean, less expensive. with all the puzzle trays with lids on the market I see no reason to have drawers within the board..... after your review it sounds like they made the board but no one tested it , by actually doing a puzzle on it before it on the market. I always appreciate honest reviews..

I have the Bits and Pieces puzzle board. I really like it. Just wood on top so no felt to clean. I do like the handle on yours and the (idea of) hinges on the drawers and the cover! But this one has no splinters. But I don’t think it’s big enough for a 1500 piece. But the drawers are deeper. However, one side is open without a barrier. Doesn’t bother me, but I have seen the same one with all 4 edges. Edited to say “open on 2 sides.”

I have the Jumbo Deluxe puzzle board from Bits and Pieces. It doesnt have all 4 edges on on top which is my biggest complaint about it. I had a coupon for it and got it for $60 bucks.
    I've been happy with it.

I'm not too into puzzle accessories but this one seems cool. I had couple puzzle "boards" gifted to me but I was't too impressed.
