Mike's take on Judge having a problem with Soto's half a billion dollar salary is a bit ludicrous... What about Aaron Judge tells anyone he would be vindictive towards a teammate that can lead him to multi WS titles?? I don't see that whatsoever. Judge knew this before Soto even came over to the team that Soto would break contract history. MOreover Judge knows he gave the Yanks a team discount when Judge re-signed for 390 mill. Judge makes many millions per season outside the game.
I think Soto and Judge should bat 3rd and 4th respectively with Volpe and Verdugo leading off and batting 2nd. Rice 5th Torres 6th, Grisham 7th Lemahieu 8th and Cabrera 9th
Mets traditionally do horribly against the teams they should beat when it matters. Turn it around boys! Earn your salary, give the front office reason to be buyers and get some pitching help.
Yankees have to tear the farm system apart to get the reinforcements by the trade deadline to get to the World Series and I don't care if they have to trade Jason Dominguez and Spencer Jones and all their top pitching prospects to do so

mike, did you google/research the "5 dancing is raelis" that were arrested on 9/ 11 bt sgt. decarlo? Anyways, I think you're right about the yankees.. shuld be an interesting deadline.
Teams need to chg strategy to go n get SP that can pitch 7innings even allowing 3-5 runs per outing rather than rely on multiple Sub par relief pitchers that gv more runs &: walk. Also more pitchers more odds they r gonna stink
Gleyber Torres needed accountability to help him earlier this season.... the Yanks management style of coddling has done him no favors... look at the last 3 games since his benching.... but the Yanks management is stale to effective accountability tactics. Gleyber requires special guidance. He is not a Judge and needs that attention.
Stroman called him out and that I believe lit a fire under him. In the clubhouse I'm sure they had it out. Teammates need to hold each other accountable and Judge stepped up by handling it in the dugout. Love the team chemistry.
Mike - the Knicks were 12-1 last year when Brunson, Randle, and OG all played. In that stretch, the Knicks blew out Denver, beat Minnesota, blew out Philly, and and blew out Miami. Randle was average 24 and 9 on 48% shooting when he got hurt. He's an all-star and a legit scorer who draws double teams. Your "addition by subtraction" take is REALLY bad.
this is the title we get when mike wants to talk bad about the mets, but cant due to recent success. and wants to praise the yankees, but cant due to recent failures😂😂😂
It bothers me when the Mets start to play well because of, or they think because of, some "gimmick" or phrase. That seems so minor league to me but the Mets have always been like that. We're not "corporate" like the stankees and we like to have fun which is nice but we HAVE to start winning more for me to justify all this other side stuff.
Mike’s take on Julius Randle makes zero sense to me. An All Star and All NBA 3rd Team who is a legit #2 scoring option behind Brunson, and without IHart, we need him on the boards as well. Rare L from Mike on that one IMO.
@@klabkebash Yep, and in one of two losses (home loss to magic), Brunson didn't play. The Knicks were 12-1 when Brunson, Randle, and OG all played. Mike's Randle take is REALLY bad.

Besides some relief pitchers and a couple positions players, where's the Mets age at? Then any player with some age is already towards the end of their contract. Trust me, they're not as old as you think so go back to watching your team and leave this one alone.

Agreed. Plus Aaron will love the protection of Juan's bat behind him
I totally agree. He will want his teammates to get $$$. I don't see him as the hater type.
Mike is way off on that, pretty silly.
I've heard that a few times. Thought Mike was smarter than that. So I guess he thinks Soto is a Goner cause it's going to be a lot more than Judge !
