This is my first time seeing you. After watching many, many videos this is the first technique that seems to work. Thank you! I have had ptosis for over ten years due to an autoimmune disease. Wow! What a difference. And I love your sense of humor and honesty. Subscribed!

I have been dealing with my left eye looking smaller for years. I hate the way I look in photos and it is getting worse with age. I had no idea that it was a condition. I will be trying your makeup tips. Thank you for putting this on You Tube . ❤️

Same here! First time I really noticed it was in our professional engagement photo. What the heck?!! And from then on, that's all I see... I recently got a minor infection in one eye that made it even worse... UGH!!! But I do think these suggestons help. Good luck! :)

@@MichelleFoxBeauty same here it's all I was seeing, but instead of calling it my bad eye I just started using that one to wink at people all the time! Even just to agree with them. If you make it a habit and wink and nod even with a serious or neutral expression people just come to think of it as a quirk instead of that you're flirting with them. Meet someone, smile and 😉. See a friend in a store? Wave and 😉. It's awesome.

@@MichelleFoxBeauty any thoughts about tilting your head for photos? Do you think it helps to camouflage at all? I've been turning my larger eye away slightly or tilting towards that sides shoulder for several years, however I could very well be fooling only myself!

@@alwaysathome I'm sure it helps! The same principles are at work... light and dark... distance creating depth (shadow)... I'll have to try that too!

oh gosh i am so happy to have stumbled across this video! i'm always looking for tips and tricks for ptosis, though it's difficult to find many since it's not very common. i had a tumor on my eye and it caused one of my muscles to almost completely detach and i developed ptosis. i've had it since i was a toddler so you'd think i'd have figured out how to work around it by now, 15 or so years later haha. unfortunately, it's still something i find hard to do and i always hate when i see beautiful eye looks because i just know it wouldn't work with my eyes :( i'm super excited to try some of your suggestions, thank you for sharing and adding to the list of tips! this was such a nice video to watch, also. you're a great conversationalist and i had a lovely time watching! :)

I looked at the inverted filter on my phone and I hurt my feelings 😭. My lazy eye looks so bad. Omg that's how people see me.😱 But when I look at the mirror it looks normal. I noticed in pics my left eye always looks smaller than the other. The optometrist did say I needed the glasses. So this Saturday I'm going to get them. Idk why I waited so long. This video helped me to make them even!!! And it looks way better! Thank you 💕

I was diagnosed with ptosis , my left eye lid droops. You just describe your eye lid condition using my exact words. I also thought I looked like I had a stroke on one side of my face.

Love your earrings girl!!! I have one eye that is lower on my face - even my eyebrow grows lower on that side... I never even noticed until I was 38 years old but I've always hated wearing my glasses so I think I somehow knew 🤣

    Helpful 👍
Ptosis surgery doesn’t help. I’ve had two (first time didn’t help, so we tried again…didn’t fix it)
I use Japanese lid tape (which looks bad in person) or eyelash glue on lid, but looks bad when you look down.

I could be wrong but…. I think that your “good” eye in your words has ptosis and the other is just normal age related drooping. Yours look like mine and that’s exactly what I have been diagnosed with.😊

@@suzanne6841 Wow! So you think the eye that is droopiest is just normal aging? Interesting!!!

Great video!! Thank you very much for the makeup tips, I will be trying them. Your ptosis is imperceptible, until you point it out.
In my case it is very noticeable, both of my creases are on the same height, but the bad eyelid is a little bit swollen and it even covers half of my pupil. I got it when I was 13 and it’s been 10 years since, I don’t know the cause, and now I have kind of accepted it because I don’t know if the surgery would be effective.
