Showing that all IT employee stay late at work everyday is a just a stereotype 😂 In reality, in product companies you have flexibility like you'll never have anywhere else. It's entirely my decision whether I wanna permanently work from home or from the office. Or do a bit of both. I don't need to ask for permission to take leaves. I just need to inform. I can go offline for a couple of hours as I need. Team outings, goodies, no hierarchies, great pay - there are a lot of perks. However, you need to work your ass off in the initial couple of years to get into the ecosystem of product companies like that.

very very true my mom was a bright student in her young age her father didn't allow her to go to college nor any job she married my dad her own cousin (aunty's son) my dad is a irresponsible person, my mom is 60 plus now and she is always dependent on someone, she tried starting her own business too with some money she arranged when we were kids but my dad didn't allow and gave that money to his sisters and parents.... whereas my mom is very smart talented but helpless!...however I am glad that she fought for us our future (me and my siblings) we are well settled in abroad now.... we love our mom more than anything anyone in this world!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
