That is true, I need to look up some room clearing guides or something. I definitely need to learn how to do it while exposing as little of myself as possible.
@@StootWorts gain some distance from the thresholds or doors your plan on advancing through. That will help with angles and exposure. Plus breaking the threshold with the end of your rifle gives away the fact that you’re entering that room to anyone in there before you actually enter, will help with that as well. Nice setup as well I like it🔥
@splash_nav603 that's really useful information, thank you!! It makes a ton of intrinsic sense that being further from the corner opens up your field of view but for whatever reason that didn't click. I'll definitely make sure to handle corners better. And thank you! It's about as generic of a Mk.18 as you can get but it's common for a reason- it looks damn good.
@brickstorm5503 been using a Tokyo Marui Mk.18! Absolutely love it! Though, I did just get an MP9 the other day so there should be some more GBBR variety in my upcoming videos
@@StootWorts ooh! Can’t wait! Thanks for the quick response! Another quick question, do you know if your rifle is the one licensed by Daniel defense and colt? Or is it the one licensed just by colt? Sorry for all of the questions.
@@brickstorm5503 No you're totally fine! It does have all of the proper rollmarks/trades where they should be. The lower receiver has the Colt markings and the handguard has the Daniel Defense ones. It does also add some airsoft specific marks which are a bit annoying but also hard to notice unless you know exactly what you're looking for. I'm a bit of a fanatic for proper trades and it hasn't bothered me at all. However, having both Colt and DD markings is likely why this model is nearly $200 more than the more basic M4 MWS systems. If you plan on changing the handguard, go with one of the cheaper ones (the TM Mk.18 handguard is also notoriously hard to remove). But, if you're like me and you love the look of the Mod 1, this will satisfy that for sure.
@@brickstorm5503 No problem at all! I take it you also care about the faithfulness of the replica so I totally understand your interest in those details. If you have any other questions let me know!
I do really need to get a tracer unit at some point. I want to get a Surefire-style suppressor and I've seen ones that are tracer units so honestly I might go for one of those soon.
you should work on checking corners, sometimes you walk past uncleared hallways and corners which is dangerous
