omg I was stressing about how to create hyperlinks without using keynotes and thankfully now I know that powerpoint can be used...this made me so happy thank you so much for your tutorial!
This is the most simple yet very easy to understand tutorial. Thank you so much for this video 💕 new subs here 🙋🏻♀️ you made such an excellent tutorial
I’m doing a 400 page planner and I can’t export that many pages out of canva so I’m doing the work around creating several smaller documents then merging with a pdf merger. Can i then upload to PowerPoint or does it need to be directly from canva to PP? If so how can I upload 400 pages to PP from canva? One document at a time? Any help would be appreciated
First of all good job on creating your digital planner. Takes a lot of time, yes? :) And yes, you can create, download and merge them and then just open it on Powerpoint. You can't do 400 in Canva. :)
Glad I can help. You're welcome and thank you too!😊Spiral binder, I think I created it. :) And I have tutorials on how to create it as well. Check these out: ua-cam.com/video/kNdTCJu7vEg/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/QCnqh9ralmc/v-deo.html
I have a question, if anyone has an answer... When I export to powerpoint, it shifts my text and messes up my tabs. I've tried locking and grouping and everything else I can think of to make it stop, but I get the same result every time. Does anyone know how to get powerpoint to not mess up the imported planner?
@@travelingdesigner what about the hyperlink in each tabs on each page? if editing outside canva to duplicate the page, will it affect the hyperlink created earlier?
Thank you. For the tabs, you can just use the square or rectangle shape. 👍 It's in the elements in Canva and in Powerpoint, it's in shape tool (if I remember correctly). 😬
Yes. It's a digital planner. Usually you use this with notability or goodnotes or any note-taking apps but you can also just open it on Acrobat Reader or Preview. However, you cannot type on any textboxes since it's not editable. That is different. :)
Yes, I don't use Pro. Can you see the PowerPoint icon though? If not, you can click on the icon with 3 dots and you'll see all the others including PP. 😊
Hi Love! What if we wanna sell digital planner landscape ones (like 2 pages facing each other), what would be standard size for height*weight that can fit on any of Goodnotes, notability, ipad planner? please lemme know standard size fir etsy
Any size will do as it's a digital file and you'll be using it on a digital planner. Users can resize it. But if you like, you can use Letter Size Landscape (11in by 8.5in).
hi. this is a great tutorial, the best one I have found. Can you please explain to me, at the end....the copy-paste part, I don't understand. you select all of the tabs, copy...and past where exactly? :))
I have a pdf version of a guide that I want to convert into a planner. It has the lines and everything already. Do I just need to create the hyperlinks and upload to good notes or will I have to make the lines fillable for it to work?
No, you don't have to make the lines fillable as you will be using it on goodnotes or similar apps anyway. Anything that you will use for your digital planner doesn't have to be editable or interactive (aside from the hyperlinks). They can be plain pdfs with hyperlinks. :)
If it's a digital planner that you're creating on Canva, you need to export it to an app that can do hyperlinks easily like PP or Keynote or some other apps. If it's just a printable, no need to export. And yes, you can create a planner in Canva and sell it. :)
I was wondering why can't the hyperlinks be made in Canva? I'm thoroughly confused because I see some people complete the whole process in Canva and others use a separate program to create the hyperlinks like powerpoint, google slides etc., but why? Do the hyperlinks created in Canva not work with digital note apps? I've created hyperlinks in Canva for other things and had no problems with it working, but haven't done so with digital planners.
At the time I created this tutorial, Canva can't do it yet. Now, you can link a page within your document already (Canva). I will create a new tutorial on this soon. Thank you. :)
@@travelingdesigner Thank you Jet for the reply 🙂. I'm going to use this method you taught in the tutorial as well because I guess some have been having issues with the hyperlinks working properly in Canva occasionally. It's also good to know different ways to accomplish this on the off chance that one way isn't working.
I didn't put any links as you can download texture from your favorite sites like creativefabrica (which I have a link in the description), designcuts, creativemarket, etc. :)
Hi, you can get them in sites like creativefabrica (rb.gy/lpgzqt), designcuts, creativemarket, etc. You can also search for it and some digital planner sites should have it. You can also watch my tutorials on how to create one yourself here: ua-cam.com/video/QCnqh9ralmc/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/kNdTCJu7vEg/v-deo.html
Hi, i wonder why after I downloaded into PowerPoint, the format (font size etc) has changed. Idk what to do next. Cant edit one by one cz there are so many 😭
@@travelingdesigner yess I sent it directly but the font size changed and the whole thing become messy haha. I finally downloaded them in PNG and insert all the images into PP to insert the hyperlink 😂🥲
You can save it to a note-taking app like Noteshelf or GoodNotes (or whatever note-taking app you might have). You can use it on any tablet that has the ability to write on. :)

Oh I'm glad you're no longer stressed!😊 You're welcome. Happy to have helped.😄
@@travelingdesigner If I make it a pdf then export it to goodnotes will the hyperlinks still work.?
Yes, it should coz it's a hyperlinked pdf already.😊

Thank you so much, you made it so simple. Can you please advise which resolution is best to fit goodnotes in different Ipads?
For resolution, you can aim for 300dpi. For size, it's a digital planner so you can size it to whatever size you want. :)
OMG you are so good. I wanted to find where you get the spiral binder. I couldn't find it in canva. Did you have to buy it from somewhere

Love the tutorial! Do you create 365 pages on Canva? Does the app allow that many pages?
Thank you. 😊 I think Canva only allows 100 pages. Just create your unique pages and duplicate them outside Canva. 😊
@@travelingdesigner what about the hyperlink in each tabs on each page? if editing outside canva to duplicate the page, will it affect the hyperlink created earlier?
Hi there!! is the 2019 pro Microsoft good enough to create digital planners or would i need the Microsoft 265?
Apologies. I honestly wouldn't know since I use Mac. :)
Great tutorial! What are the keywords for the tab shape?

Thank YOU!😊 Pleasure is mine.
When we export the file as a .pdf, the question is: Can we use it as a digital file and write in it our notew and everything else we want?
Yes. It's a digital planner. Usually you use this with notability or goodnotes or any note-taking apps but you can also just open it on Acrobat Reader or Preview. However, you cannot type on any textboxes since it's not editable. That is different. :)
Hello.. how do you group the items together?
Canva or Powerpoint? Usually, just select all of the ones that you want to group and use Cmd/Ctrl G.
I cn't connect mine to powerpoint. You're canvas isn't pro too but gow come you can connect to powerpoint? Pls help

Hello, may I ask if we use animations on PowerPoint, will they move like how they're set to be on planner apps as well?
No, I don't think so since Pdfs are static.

Thank you. You mean the hyperlinks? I copied them and pasted them to all the other pages. That way, all pages have hyperlinked tabs. :)

Not sure but when saving try checking the FLATTEN PDF (if you're saving it as PDF).

What is the size that fits with the different sizes of the tablet?
Up to 8.5x11in should be ok. 🙂
Love it but wish you could do a video on how to make the spirals

What version of PowerPoint is this? It won’t let me do any of these things
