Not only did Moses marry a Black woman, when Miriam and Aaron challenged Moses for having a Black wife, God personally saw to the discipline of Miriam. “Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite. “Has the Lord spoken only through Moses?” they asked. “Hasn’t he also spoken through us?” And the Lord heard this. (Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.) At once the Lord said to Moses, Aaron and Miriam, “Come out to the tent of meeting, all three of you.” So the three of them went out. Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud; he stood at the entrance to the tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When the two of them stepped forward, he said, “Listen to my words: “When there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams. But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house. With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord. *Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”* The anger of the Lord burned against them, and he left them. When the cloud lifted from above the tent, Miriam’s skin was leprous-it became as white as snow. Aaron turned toward her and saw that she had a defiling skin disease,” Numbers 12:1-10 NIV
Jesus Christ was not a white man, he was not a racist. It is stated love your neighbour as yourself. Not love your white neighbours as yourself, nor love your black neighbours as yourself. No race involved. May you enjoy an ever blessed marriage. True love is unconditional💖💖💖
We were invited to a church a few years back (like recently, not 50 years ago), and the pastor met us at the door. He said the person who invited us told him we were coming, and that he made sure no one would get up and leave because we were there, and the ones who had a problem with us coming to that church didn't come that day. We were very surprised. There is actually a part of their written church doctrine added during the Civil Rights Movement that says if an interracial couple comes in, biracial, or Black, everyone must get up and leave. I have heard a lot of things about how "race mixing is against God's law," but this was a first for me. You said it! God looks on our hearts. Melanin has nothing to do with it. God indeed has designed someone for each of us to help carry out His special plan for our lives. You guys are a blessing.
God looks at the heart, not the color of skin. I once prayed for a wife I I'm white, and as I'm praying, God spoke to me, and black women are looking for husbands. I'm liked. u mean u don't mind? I felt he brought to my heart that if she is my daughter and loves me and she will love u, that is important to me. Then i remember that the 1st. School crush was on a black girl. If man and woman find each other in christ and marry, then they are blessed. It doesn't matter what others think. They might be jealous of what u found.
People will always judge any interracial relationship/marriage, it's really a mean thing for sure .. Sorry that you experienced that..i actually tell stories of different interracial couples and they have always said they are harshly judged.. am also in an interracial relationship and i can understand how it feels... Btw i have been following you for a while now and i really like you guys.. i would like to share your story on my channel of how you both met if that's something you are both comfortable with... Am sure your story will inspire so many people out there... I have worked with some interracial couples and their stories have really put some home to single women. I hope to hear a positive response from you ❤ Thank you.
@@getinspiredtv Awww 🥰 thanks so much for your support and kindness. Yes, that would be okay to share our story for sure. Please just tag us and link our channel in the video you make. God bless you and your marriage ❤️❤️❤️
I am a white Christian in an interracial marriage and I advise people against it because intercultural, interracial marriages simply have more difficulties and challenges. This is a fact acknowledged even by secular media and academia. Anybody can go online and freely search challenges to intercultural marriages and you will find numerous research papers, dissertations, studies, etc. documenting real problems that exist. There is a difference between advising against something because it is moral wrong or sinful versus advising against something because it has inherent challenges and difficulties.
Hello, thank you for sharing this sad but often true perspective. People should know that interracial marriages can be tough, but we would also add that marriage is tough regardless. If God brings two people together, they can overcome any challenge, and with the right heart bent toward the sanctifying power of Christ, a married couple will actually be strengthened and refined the hotter the fire. God bless you and God bless your beautiful marriage.
It always shocks me when I come across “Christians” with the most vile, racist views. I’ve seen them use the most hurtful and despicable language towards black people in particular. I really don’t understand how someone who could call themselves a Christian could have so much hate in their hearts for other human beings. How could they think that the God of the bible would want to create a world so divided? I’m sorry you have both had to go through people unfairly judging your relationship.
We should be very careful speaking against people's marriages. Remember what God did to Miriam and Aaron when they spoke against Moses marriage to Cushite Woman. Number 12 :1-15
May the Lord bless both of you and your marriage. God sees our hearts not the way our skin color looks like. You. Both remain blessed.
Amen my dear, thank you so much and God bless you also.
