Would like to hear other types of music played over these systems. Excellent for a speaker that was originally used for early movie soundtracks!

Nice stereo, WE 555s are always winners especially on a great horn like the 22.

Why does this sound so much better than on speakers? What is this device and is it optimal for classical music?

LOL - you really don't know what a horn speaker is? It is not only better on classic, it is better on almost all types of music especially on Jazz, Blues or let's say older recordings that have some dynamics left in the recording. The disadvantage of horns is that you basically can't manufacture them cheaply and they need to be big, you can't build a proper horn bookshelf speaker. The speed of sound (345m) divided by the desired frequency (let's say 345hz) gives you the size in square meter ( so in this case 1m squared). That's why people don't by them anymore, but if you want real high end then that's the only way to go.

@@snakeoilaudio Do you think listening to classical music makes you better than other people? Insecure snob

I wish I could hear that in real life, I know my shitty speakers are not doing it justice.

But why you din't show your electronics driving these horns? They play pretty good but the music that is flowing from this kind of speakers is always boxed. Not my cup of tea.
