I appreciate how you circle back to explain what you are doing. Many content creators often just tell you to “make lag” but don’t get the details on what they specifically mean. Your channel has helped me a lot. Thanks Kevin
@@timothys4855 thank you for watching glad the videos helped!
Very helpful lesson. Thank you
@@anthonyviola9400 thank you for watching!
Awesome!!!!!
I use a similar feel when I maintain the Top-of-the-Backswing Structure until about waste high, when I unload.
I think a lot more people will appreciate your lessons if you show the ball flight on screen rather than just the total distance number.
kevin do you have a weak , neutral or strong grip? Do have video talking about this ? Thank you.
@@blueeyes6192 I have a neutral grip, will try to make a video about this in the near future 👍🏼
@ Thanks Kevin . I think depending on the grip style I suspect adjustments need to be made to the swing ? It would be helpful to have a video to show the adjustments needed .
☑️
Do you have an above view of your swing which allows us to see the depth of swing?
Liked the video but it seemed to end before you had intended it to.
@@posterho thank you for bringing that up
cliff hanger ending!
@@rmarkhm sorry about that something might of went wrong
why are there 2 different ways to do this ( downswing ) from instructors .... this video--- arms passive until waist high, turn the body and then swing the arms or swing the arms to waist high, then rotate quickly to the target? How do we know which way is correct for us. ?? they are completely opposite in sequence.
As a swing thought, I believe that thinking of "swinging the arms" either to waist high or to the target is a bad idea. If the body turn is done correctly with the waist and lower body leading the way, the "swinging" will occur by itself without conscious thought.
Whenever I try to think about turning the hips it’s ALWAYS a disaster. Most of what Kevin teaches has helped me tremendously except this. Fortunately there are other instructors who teach a pull and release downswing (ie. Greg Grexa, Andrew Emery etc.) where I’ve been able to blend elements of both teaching styles where it works for me. This is where you have to be careful when following an instructor online. It can be very dangerous to take everything they teach as gospel. I think you have to be willing to try different elements of what other instructors teach to find what works for you!
I cant keep up , just cant take it all in , i really dont want any of that going through my head , ever , never mind during a round of golf .
Can you do a video where you just take the club back on your natural plane and return it to the ball , the kicker is i would like to know exactly how you make contact with the ball , exactly how .
Everyones swing gives them a path , everyones swing gives them a release and everyones swing brings them into the ball , can we forget the swing and just do a bit on how best to release through the ball / into the ball from a players perspective ( maybe a head cam ) or above .
Ninety nine percent of players approach golf from above the ball and i think only maybe ten percent understand the correlation of path / attack angle / ball and release .
Giving another position to drop/ flip / throttle or supernate the club tells us nothing , not a thing , nada .
I think anyone who teaches themselves to find the sweetspot time after time automatically or at least eventually learns how to do it within themselves and creates an effortless looking swing - without effort .
The problem i see people having isnt where to drop the club or when to unhinge the trail wrist, it is how to actually hit the ball with the bit of the clubface that is designed to contain or concentrate all the clubs power .
I think , i believe , ive experienced that once you acquire that one simple thing then everything else follows , and follows to suit the individuals possibilities and limitations .
Is it so much to ask ?
