I love how there are so many people that are not even die-hard fans of Billie or don’t follow her at all that still come together every year to see her growth on the Vanity Fair videos and being so proud of her like older siblings.

oh my gosh the mom moment made me tear up, even after almost a year of repeatedly watching this. her just being emotional makes me feel so sad, but happy at the same time. I’m so proud of Billie. Im so proud that shes overcome these obstacles that were forever going to be challenging. I think we ALL know, that this is the most Billie we’ve seen Billie so far. I really hope that her future will keep her as happy and healthy as she is now, or even more than that. This is definitely her peak year of this whole series. With all that shes been through, I believe she deserves the best of both worlds for herself. ❤

I don't know how, but this video ends up in my recommended every year and I love every second of it. Being the same age as Billie I feel like I am going through the same phases in life, even though our lives are completely different. I love seeing the same ups and downs in Billie as I experience, and strive to become like the Billie in 2022. Thank you Billie Eilish and Vanity Fair for making these series possible. It's truly unique.

It's the same for me. We have only 11 month age gap between us I'm younger but I can totally understand what she meant throughout these videos. Because most of the time Vanity Fair post the video after my birthday so I'm within the same age as her in the video. When Maggie says at the end of the interview, how she misses “all the Billies”. I think we all miss all the Billies. Any parent can relate to this feeling. Especially such a sensitive, creative child. We can all feel pride in how Billie has matured and come into her self, while feeling nostalgic for the openness and vulnerability of her formative years.

the way her face dropped for a moment when she saw 2021 Billie talk about her relationship was so heartbreaking, but then it was so beautiful hearing her talk in the present about how grateful she was for it in the past. seeing her grow every year like this is such a special thing to get to witness.

I wasn't a fan of hers the first or second year, but then couldn't help falling in love with her quirky personality and gave her a listen. She's amazing. How I feel. She's been around for 6 years so it's easy to forget She's only 20. I feel like she's lived a lifetime 4 times over. I'm happy she's seeming to be her best self. It’s funny I’ve watched these since the first one came out back in 17 when barely anyone knew her. But every year I forget they exist until it’s uploaded. I think we can all agree these interviews are where we see Billie at her purest self and most vulnerable. It’s so beautiful to have grown with her being the same age and go through all these things together in a sense

I'm not gonna lie, these are so well put together and heartfelt, that when the day comes when her mom doesn't come out to hug her will RUIN me inside, the relationship they share is so wholesome and sweet, I abore how much they love each other that if she doesn't come out, I'd be real devastated

I freaking adore her. I know none of us can really know her, but I feel like she's so open and vulnerable and honest and I just wish her all the best things in life. Of all the musicians, she just seems so down to earth and the absolute coolest to be friends with. So happy to see her so happy!

My favorite moment of this interview has always been seeing her mom is with her at the end. And I always loved how Billie was able to interact and observe these previous versions of herself. I never even thought about how they’re previous versions of mama’s daughter. For her to experience all the ages of Billie’s life-yeah, that’s really special, too.
I'm so jealous of that experience. I never had parents. It must be nice to be able to be comforted by someone like that.

these videos are the only interaction I have with Billie. I dont listen to her music or follow her on anything. But I love these videos. It's cool to see someone like her grow. Sad they havent posted a 7th one. sounds like they did it, but arent posting it.
