Hi, the motor on the RM250 is the same as the RM1200 and is strong enough. If your roll is jamming perhaps something is stuck or pinched and maintenance or re-assembly is needed. Yes you can! You can remove the socks\compartment and directly feed the flow to the RM. We have a sump modification kit and a video of how to do it.
Is this better than the 500 for for the reefer 250
The 500 can handle more flow, the 250 is more compact.
