Thanks for the great walking tour of Koln. This video brought back a lot of memories. Back in 1975 at the age of 18 I was doing the 30 day "backpack-wad of travelers checks-2nd class Eurail pass" tour of Europe. For three nights I stayed at Hotel Stapelhäuschen which can be seen at 05:50. I seem to remember I had a small room on the top floor which was a 4 or 5 story walk up. The hotel had a very charming all wood interior which looked like it dated to the 1700's and it probably did. I'm happy to see it's still around after all these years. In 2012 I visited Koln again with my wife. We stayed at Hotel Europa Am Dom which was near the church and can be seen at 19:25 in the video. While this hotel had all the charm of a Holiday Inn express it at least had an elevator and a large breakfast buffet. Koln is my second favorite German city behind Munchen.
Excellent that you enter the Cathedral, this tour will not be complete without it. Your videos are very very good, what I will recommend to make them a lot better, is to add subtitles of the places you are passing thru, and the reason is to know where you and we are. I hope you can do this, I know it’s more work but also will be a much better video. I hope you can do this. Congratulations keep on doing great journeys.

🍎 wonderful walking tour. Love the Riverside Park and the fact that you were able to go into the cathedral and look around. Very nice. - H
