I agree. My mom was a state worker. She would stop by Macys to buy things during her lunch break, or after work during holiday season or sales. She retired well before the pandemic. But I think many of her co-workers would do the same back then. It’s sad to see Macys go….but downtown plaza has changed so much from what it used to be in the old days.
