I love this easy to follow tutorial of a relatively simple subject using simple to understand fundamental techniques that creates a visually sophisticated image without the use of 12.7 million colors 🙂 Very well done!
Thank you for this tutorial. My wife gave me a 36-piece Prismacolor last Christmas and I was afraid I might not use it well until I stumbled upon this tutorial. I can't wait to practice more with your other videos.
@@BethanyThiele my art teacher posted this on google classroom for us. she thinks you’re amazing too! i’ll update you when she grades mine, and i have no doubt i’ll get an A 😊
Also, a great project. As a real - real beginner, I struggled to keep up. I believe a somewhat slower pace would give individuals like me a little more time to work. Sometimes, high speed playback is not always the best presentation approach. But, Thanks! A great little project.
The best tape is “artist tape”/painters tape or washi tape, but I also use regular masking tape that I have stuck first to my skin and clothes (to make it less sticky). I stick it a few times to the clothes and skin, not just once, and then once it has some lint on it it will remove more easily from paper!
Hey hi again! i have a assignment in which our art teacher told us to draw a pumpkin, she referred us to watch your video. i'll be drawing the pumpkin today. i'll share you as soon as done here in the comments. Give me your feedbach k?

Cool I had an assignment to do as well called value pumpkin
honestly i wish mine turned out half as good as this
it didnt :\
What type of tape did you use that it came off so easily?
The best tape is “artist tape”/painters tape or washi tape, but I also use regular masking tape that I have stuck first to my skin and clothes (to make it less sticky). I stick it a few times to the clothes and skin, not just once, and then once it has some lint on it it will remove more easily from paper!
@@BethanyThiele Oh I love that tip!!!! I have masking tape on hand so that would be the easiest. Thanks for this!.
Bethany, what grade would you do this with normally?
I have done this with 6th and 8th (but expect more from 8th graders than 6th)!
