Great, as always. I love your tuition, so easy to understand and integrate into practice sessions. As an aside, I smile at the end of each video when Kerrod hits a shot and Alex never looks in the direction of the ball. Just continues to look at Kerrod as if to say 'yeah, I can do that too mate!' 😊

Fantastic video fellas! Can you explain the "ball to target baseline" relative to where the butt of the club should point? I got excited @4:47 but your reference confused me. I really want to resolve understanding where the butt end should be pointing. I've heard towards the ball from other coaches but that gets the shaft angle much larger than the 90° reference point that you clearly articulated.

I’m not being sarcastic or dismissive, but at 7:15, does Alex not show where he means when he points at the ground and says, “I like that sensation of pointing that butt end somewhere just inside that ball to target line”, and taps a spot on the ground with his club?

I'd like to know more about how to get the arms on the downline plane talked about in this video. I spent years trying to get out of a swing where the grip/shaft pointed outside the ball on the backswing. No matter what I tired it never looked very different when hitting a ball on video.
Practice swings look to be on a good plane with the shaft setting on a good angle, but as soon as a ball is in front of the club the swing looks very different even though intent for swinging is the same. Not long ago I found that too little pressure in the last three fingers of the left hand (for a right handed golfer's swing) causes the clubhead to drop low while the grip may tilt horizontal and and elevate a bit. All those morons preaching light grip pressure ruined my swing (and no doubt countless others) - more grip pressure leads to a better shaft plane during the swing. If you have a chance to do additional videos about causes of the shaft to swing on bad planes going back, and what could really improve those positions and movements it would be appreciated.

rip it into the water, triple bogey, next hole par 3 shank it off the tee

@@supreme444 Well yes sometimes that can happen but more often than not when I grab the club and swing naturally I strike the ball well. When I start thinking ok I have to keep my left arm straight and my knees slightly bent and my hips must rotate etc., I hit it into the drink or shank it off the tee. 😝
