The Fabric is Cut Now What!? How to Mark the Fabric for Seam Allowance & Invisible Zipper Placement

In the last episode, we talked about how to measure a pillow insert, so that you get a perfectly fitting pillow cover. In the episode before that, we covered all of the different types of common pillow, stuffings, or pillow fillings, and the pros and cons of each.
Today I am going to walk you through a great way to mark your fabric if you are newer to sewing or if this is the first throw pillow cover that you’ve made.
It probably seems a bit extra, but it will set you up for success by giving you a clear image of where your seams should be sewn as well as how to place the zipper perfectly.
So even though I adding an extra step to the process... I promise it is worth it- especially when you get to the part where we sew in the INVISIBLE ZIPPER.
