I think for me I'll be really sad if we AREN'T Cassie's dad, because that first ending is SO narratively powerful if we are. It's the kind of tragedy that the Frights books tend to lean into-- her dad being trapped inside a staff bot, her having no idea that it's him, one interaction where he's possibly dooming his kid forever but he doesn't have a say in it. Absolutely heartbreaking.
THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING! Like- The staff bot was corrupted by the Mimic virus and therefore was programmed to give Cassie the mask. We get jumped by a bunch of staff bots and (either our consciousness is transferred to the bot, or we get stuffed in it; doesn't matter) wake up in one, and when we realize that we still have our mask (knowing the dangers it brought to us), we see our daughter for the first time only to not get recognized, and then unwillingly give our dangerous mask to our daughter, even if we never wanted to... I'm not okay-

i might be remembering this wrong but i think the cut-out of Cassie and Gregory was him comforting her after no one showed up to her birthday. she's wearing lipstick and eyeshadow that we see her wearing in a cut-out of her and Roxy at the salon and based on her conversation with Roxy before shutting her down, it seems Cassie had a birthday at the Pizza Plex but no one come to celebrate with her. that's why Roxy is her favorite as she made Cassie feel special and cared for on her birthday
I always got the impression that Cassie met Gregory at the Pizzaplex. In the cutout, she's wearing makeup from Roxy Salon, so it makes me think she had her party, was sad that none of her friends showed up, and then she met Gregory. He showed her kindness and became her only friend, explaining why she was so determined to help him in Ruin.
yeah, cause when (SPOILERS) roxy gets crushed in ruin, she says “dont worry, im sure your friends will show up this time.” implying there was no one there
With the candy cadet stories, it seems like Vanessa was able to overcome Glitchetraps control but has returned to help Gregory in stopping the Mimic. The ending with Vanny seems to show that you were able to catch glitchtrap and Vanny then destroys him. (Most likely not the cannon ending however but does show that Vanessa's new intentions are to stop Glitchtrap.)
Two things one Vanny is still under Glitchtrap’s control and the reason I say this is because Vanny did not kill Glitchtrap and two the reason I know that Vanny did not kill Glitchtrap is because if collecting the dolls led to that ending why would Glitchtrap be the one who gives us the dolls also we do see Glitchtrap in ruin in the form of M.X.E.S and both Ruin and Help Wanted 2 has a lot of evidence that they are connected.
@@mariamroa8074but it’s made pretty clear MXES isn’t glitchtrap. It was something set up to contain the mimic and just looks like a rabbit. We also don’t know WHO is giving us the dolls and I don’t think it’s Willyboy. I think Vanny DOES kill glitchtrap here, completely ending Afton once and for all. Effectively ending the Afton chapter and making it clear we’re moving into a new chapter in the story.
@@brattygamer8939 Except, remember the that words "The oven door closed, the witch will have her meal." Vanessa only thinks she is destroying glitchtrap and getting her revenge
Sounds like Steel Wool is finally settling into Scott's personal style of storytelling. He's admitted to retroactively filling blanks and even changing unrevealed background lore before.
I think the second Candy Cadet story might be referring to Cassie, rather than Vanessa. She might’ve escaped some kind of life she had at the pizzaplex, only to come back to save Gregory. “The Boy” could possibly be the mimic pretending to be Gregory, leading Cassie to her end, or “the oven.”
I think the VANNI has become the A.i Virus head now, and is the Witch. So, the the first part is about the Human Vanessa and the second is Cassie, destined to become the "New Vanny" by being infected by the VANNI/the Witch.(the oven)

If there's any truth in the secret ending to ruin, the mimic may actually have William Afton's remnant upon it, as there is a secret ending where you can destroy The Mimic using a scooper machine set to neutralize remnant. Which ends with the mimic laying sprawled out on a factory floor with the orange lights in it's eyes gone. This implies The Mimic was destroyed by something being removed from it's endoskeleton and given a scooper was used that something was remnant. Original Help wanted even implies that the Springtrap circuit board scanned by fazbear entertainment may have had remnant on it hence how it's code took hold on it's own.
Honestly I thought this video wouldn’t come out for at least another week but then I forgot who I was talking about. Always amazing how he gets his videos out so fast while making them so good
Agreed! Plus the fact that most I’m not all his theories actually have some basis to them, rather than just being completely out of left field. Really shows the dedication he has
Personally, I think Gregory and Cassie first met during her birthday party that Roxie mentions; the one that no one showed up to. Distraught that no one showed up, Gregory saw her crying and attempted to comfort her. Which leads me to believe that the events of Security Breach isn't the first time that Gregory has snuck into the pizzaplex. I believe that either he was orphaned once the events of SU took place and his parents would take him to the pizzaplex before then or the place is a small sense of joy to him as an orphan so he sneaks in often.
Hopefully, we get new FNAF stories soon! I recently got engrossed in the lore again...forgot how much I was obsessed with series at 14-16 years old lmao 😅
Same When I was five I played FNaF 2, didn't even know there was lore to it, was a real good time, after sister location though I forgot about it, didn't even remember it existed. Then after help wanted I found it, man I was too engrossed into afterwards, a shame I forgot it existed.
If you look carefully at the security breach ruin game you actually get a hint at fnaf's past in the form of the faz wrench. Fnaf 2 had a mini game where roaming the pizzeria as an animatronic you could be stopped on a rare occasion by purple guy, who runs straight into your animatronic disabling it with the words 'you can't' displayed in the bottom right corner of the screen. The tool William Afton uses in this mini game to stop your character must have been a faz wrench, or at least an earlier version of one. Playing as Cassie in ruin you have to use the faz wrench to shutdown/reboot both eclipse and Roxanne wolf, the shutdown time on these characters being like the blue static at the rare ending to the 'save them' mini game of fnaf 2.
with candy cadet's second story, it's more about Cassie isn't it? She's literally lured right to her doom by the voice of a boy she trusts. it's probably alluding to her having escaped the pizzaplex before when something bad happened and possibly her father is the one that stopped it. We know she had that birthday party where no one came and have imagery of her bawling her eyes out at the pizzaplex we aren't sure about anyway.
it could be a metaphorical scar, like trauma from whatever happened she was crying about or possibly losing her dad. The scar in the story could represent loss.@@spencerman07
Gonna be honest here, I had the theory that Gregory and Cassie were two of the kidnapped children and held in a security office by Vanny in order to hold them hostage and kill them later on. Gregory and Cassie would escape, but Vanessa would see them escaping and chase them throughout the Pizzaplex in order to recapture them. Gregory would get Cassie towards the exit and redirect Vanessa’s attention to him as he would escape to the Atrium and climb inside Freddy while Cassie escaped the Pizzaplex into the night. There was cut dialogue with Vanessa presumably talking to Glitchtrap saying she would find Gregory and it wouldn’t be like the last one. I don’t know how eligible that is for evidence since it got cut, but that’s what I was riding with. I think the endings at least confirm the PQ Security Breach ending is the canon ending (which we already knew, but this game just confirms it since events in HW2 take place before Ruin). I also think we are playing as not only as Cassie’s Dad, but as the Bonnie bully from FNAF 4. I think it’s a special narrative to spell out especially when we retrieve the Bonny mask that he wore back in the diner days and when Moon and Baby ask him what makes him so special. Cassie’s dad would most likely keep up with the misdeeds of Fazbear’s Entertainment and Michael’s pursuit to change everything his father caused. After Michael’s death in FNAF 6, he could see this Glitchtrap situation as a way to follow in Michael’s footsteps and keep Cassie from having a similar fate like the Crying Child. However, he falls victim to Glitchtrap and now his daughter possessed a mask that was once used to corrupt another person into serving the Mimic. And now said daughter has an unknown fate within the ruins of the Pizzaplex, but she might have been saved by Roxanne Wolf. This is pure speculation, but maybe the next game will be Security Breach II or some other working title where Gregory and Vanessa return to the Pizzaplex to look for Cassie, but Cassie is corrupted into being the new Vanny. One last showdown since the Mimic is free and that probably ends the Security Breach FNAF games. Maybe a Fredbear’s prequel game to wrap up the lore and the story. Maybe even end the FNAF series as a whole.
Listen to the tapes from help wanted 1, what if her father was jeremy 🤷♂️ it actually kind of lines up. Also note the achievement "remember jeremy" for collecting a "memory" it even goes as far as mentioning a halloween mask on the ground, and light coming from the supply room(security node). Plus if he used the guillotine paper slicer on his own head it may have been glitchtrap going for the frontal lobe which controls movement so he couldn't take the vr headset back off 🤷♂️ thoughts?
@@multiverseofgaming2129 yeah, somebody theorized he might even be phone dude from fnaf 3, since hes so friendly with mike and half suggests they're both fazbear employees or were at some point
At first, I thought that that Cassie would be brainwashed into the next Vanny, but the only reason Vanessa was brainwashed was because she played the VR game. Cassie didn't. She only wore he mask which had her access a digital world. And it was used by FE Engineers anyway. So I don't think the mask has anything to do with Vanessa's brainwashing.
Perhaps Cassie's father is the fnaf 4 Bonnie mask bully from years ago. It would make some sense, because the only characters that have any relations (not shipping!) with Bonnie are the Bonnie masked bully and Jeremy, and we know what happened to Jeremy.
Agreed, so that means we have two Five Nights at Freddy's 4 bullies Fates explained Michael was the main character for a while and then he got scooped and then burned alive in Fnaf 6, and now we have Cassie's father but that means we now have two fully faiths unexplained the guy in the Chica mask and the one in the Freddy mask.
Well, the only issue with that theory is tied to the dates. If Cassie's dad was the kid in the Bonnie Mask in '83, then there's the issue. Cassie's Dad was (presumably) a teen, likely 13 - 14, in 1983, which, if we calculate the dates right, by FNAF Security Breach/Ruin, he'd be around 60 years old, assuming that SB/Ruin takes place around 2030 as sources may suggest. In my opinion, it could still be possible that Cassie's dad was the son of the Mask Bonnie Kid, it would makes more sense if Cassie's dad picked up his father's love for the Bonnie character and why the Mask during the Princess Quest section only had a vague familiarity rather than a full on familiarity.
@@shadangel47 I alson want to point out that the mask looks like the fnaf 1 Bonnie mask. Not the fnaf 2 Bonnie mask (before it got withered and taken from Bonnie). Which indicated that that's what the fnaf 4 bullies mask looks like in game
I feel like Cassie and Gregory met at the pizza plex, cause there’s a cutout that shows Cassie with make up on and Roxxane wolf, I think that maybe it was Cassie birthday and she was celebrating at the pizza plex and Roxy maybe was hosting, and I’m guessing that maybe people didn’t show up to her b-day, the. Gregory found her sad and cheered her up? It also could explain why Roxy asks Cassie “do you still like carrot cake” and references her “special day”
I think the story about the witch and the young girl is probably signaling that Cassie might have survived and is scared from the experience and will likely come back with gergory to finally end the mimic, sorry i just can't let the idea that cassie is actually gone set in
I think that the second candy cadet story was actually talking about cassie being dragged into the forest further by the boy who was actually the witch or the mimic so basically the whole plot of ruin
Here’s my personal thought on the mimic and glitchtrap, as we know from the tales from the pizzaplex books the og physical mimic endoskeleton was created by Edwin Murray, and from help wanted we know that circuit boards and parts from past animatronics were scanned into the help wanted game, I personally believe that glitchtrap is a mimic variant created from the circuit board of the og mimic but also possibly infected with William aftons agony or he learn about William’s crimes in the 80s, I also believe that the helpi AI from ruin is also a mimic variant just like how tiger rock from the books also runs on the mimic1 programming, I think their are multiple mimics out their and also think that the og mimic has some kind of influence and control over the others and it’s possible their are others out their somewhere.
The story being about Vanessa is a bit flawed. In the story, the woman fails to kill the witch whereas here we see Vanny successfully delete GlitchTrap. It might be more accurate if we compare it to Cassie’s story. Ruin wasn’t her first time at the pizzaplex, and a considerable amount of time would need to have passed for the place to be so utterly ruined. The story ended with “the oven closed and the witch will finally get her meal”. Gregory led her into the elevator she couldn’t get out of and dropped to her implied death. I hope they come out with another DLC because I can’t stand the thought of leaving that story on such a sour note
But then, what would Cassie's "lifelong scar" be? As far as narrative goes, Vanessa being the main character makes a tad bit sense. Her life long scar would be her as Vanny and escaping the woods could also mean her being free. If this is true, it could easily explain why Vanny also appears in the PQ ending despite her supposedly being free
I assumed that the player was Vanessa trying to correct her mistakes and taking Glitch trap down, but someone suggested it was Cassie's dad, and that made a lot more sense.

Oh thank god a lore video explaination, I've been looking at the gameplay of this VR game, and it looks insanely stressful I couldn't stomach it very well, its a far cry from Security Breach and the older night guard based stuff.
I did see someone comment that the Cassie ending likely indicates that Cassie’s dad became the Mask Bot that gave her the Vanny mask in Ruin. As if you listen closely to the line in the ending, it says “Take a mask.”, which is the same line we hear from the bot in Ruin.
Pretty sure the Cassie and Gregory cutout in Ruin is Cassie at her birthday party where no one shows up, so Gregory consoles her. And the second Candy Cadet story is about Cassie and the story of Ruin.
1:27 Seeing that take off your vanni mask poster makes we wonder if matpats theory about the cult of glitchtrap will come to fruition (I honestly hope it does because that would be awesome) 🤩. I also wonder if because Cassie found the vanni mask will become the next vanny and maybe her dad will have to team up with Gregory and Vanessa to save her.
But what if the second story referred to Cassie, since the little boy could have been the mimic(the witch) using Gregorys voice to lure her to itself (the oven), and the part where the witch almost killed the woman could symbolise Cassie escaping while her dad goes missing
I interpreted it like this It's after Security Breach but before Ruin. It's a paraquel. Considering Roxy gets her weird mask she has in RUIN in this game, and that one of this games endings is literally the beginning of RUIN (The Scene where Cassie gets the mask) means this happens before those events. The games other ending also is basically a continuation of the Princess Quest ending from Security Breach, with Glitchtrap being crushed by Vanny at the end of Princess Quest. Besides, recently a person at Steel Wool Studios liked a Tweet by someone on X (Twitter) who suggested Cassie's Dad is the character we play as.
There's one problem with the first Candy Cadet 1st story theory: we dont know if Mrs. Afton is actually dead or alive. There is really no proof either way.
The 2nd Candy story reads very differently to me. I agree it's about Vanessa, but I think the order of events are: -Vanessa is trapped by Glitch-Trap in HW1 -Vanessa escapes by herself in the Holiday update in HW1 -She keeps working for Fazbear entertainment, looking for a way to sabotage Glitch-Trap -Gregory offers his help, but he's already infected with the mimic1 virus -Gregory betrays Vanessa to put her back under Glitch-Trap's control I think it's further context of what happened before SB and, specifically, who was infected when.
Forgive me as I’m not up to date on some of the lore, but if Gregory lured Vanessa back under the mimic’s control, why did he end up helping her in Security Breach? If he was infected with the virus, how did he become “un-infected”?
@@pyrospark4167 Gregory broke free from the mimic's control due to Cassie playing balloon world and defeating the glitch. Not to mention Gregory had played all of the Princess Quest games and freed Vanessa from the mimic's control.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EXPLAINING THIS!!! The theory about Cassie's dad disappearing, leading to her going to an orphanage and meeting Gregory there actually made my jaw drop because the cut outs in Ruin match up perfectly to this!!! The cut out with Cassie and the Roxys (the first cut outs we see with the Vanny mask on) could be from when her dad worked in the pizzaplex The next cut out with her crying and Gregory helping her could be from when her dad disappeared and she ended up in the orphanage, meeting Gregory for the first time And the cut out with Cassie crying even more and the Missing Gregory posters on the wall could be from when Gregory maybe escaped the orphanage to go to the pizzaplex, leaving Cassie on her own. I can't wait to see any future Fnaf games that we may get that are based around Security Breach, because maybe we'll find out what really happened 😭🙏🏻✨️
Now that he presented this stuff, I think that Cassie’s father might be one of the bullies from the bite of 83, since the Bonnie mask appeared and it said that it looked familiar
Interesting take on the lore, I don't really believe the orphanage part is right though, what I think what happened was that Cassie invited people to her party but nobody came, and since I believe Gregory is the rebuilt crying child, he most likely saw cassie and comforted her.
I don't know who the second candy cadet story is referring to, but the point seems to be that the girl literally learned nothing with age and experience. First she followed the witch without thinking, then followed the boy the exact same way. The boy was a form of the witch the whole time and so the witch finally got her meal.
What also would go along the theorie that you play cassies father is that there is a voiceline from the mr hippo machine where she says "she needs you" wich would imply that cassie needs her father
I feel the candy bot story number 2 is a clear reference to Cassie! How could you not see it? Young woman(Cassie) led into a forest(pizzaplex) with its deceiving friendly voice(mimic as Gregory) and ended up leaving a scar, returning she followed a boy(when real Gregory showed up) led her through the forest(building) and into the home(elevator) but then it turned out to be another trap. Orrrr it could be Cassie’s gets the scar from the mimic from falling through the elevator and decides that instead of leaving she’s going to shut down the Mimic, so maybe we have yet to see the second half of this story play out. My two theories
If the game mimic's backstory is the same as the fright books then it makes the mimic as very sad character. It wasn't inherently a monster, the mimic was created with the ability to learn, but because of one tragic event it led to the mimic learning the wrong behavior and since it can learn it could be taught that it's bad behavior and possibly not to do it.
I really don’t think the Springtrap parts were ever scanned into the VR game, that wouldn’t make the Mimic. The Mimic AI was invented a long time ago and it was its scanned circuit boards that infected the VR game, and seeing William’s crimes caused it to start mimicking him.
One thing I know about Gregory is that he was helping Cassie to escape and probably destroy the mimic plus the secret room can be the true ending and the elevator ending can be either the bad or natural ending
Thank you for your interpretation! With how winding things are, I have started wondering if maybe Cassidy was the Princess and if she bonded with Vanessa/Vanny via Princess Quests 1-3 being getting played and beaten in Security Breach (after the Help Wanted PQ getting Vanny made by bonding Glitchtrap with Vanessa) and if playing and beating PQ 4 in HW2 permits Cassidy/Princess/GoodVanny to isolate and destroy the Glitchtrap influence from Vanessa as a result.
It makes a lot more sense, although I’m a bit confused why Freddy had a prototype sticker on his foot, also was the BurnTrap Ending just a reminder of the old games 🤷♂️, but it could have been a teaser so who knows
@@sapphocortez2287 Well it is a secret Ending not as much a true Ending so it makes sense, it was like a final goodbye to the old games if you think about it
I thought you were playing as a staff bot. I mean, they didn't show anyone other staff, than Vanessa in the Pizzaplex. Like they didn't have any thing that hinted that human still work there.
12:58 *Or* is the second story referring to Cassie? Think about it, the young woman, (Cassie) when she was a child, was lead by a sweet voice (The Mimic, using Gregory's voice) through a forest (The Ruined Pizzaplex) without hesitation. But after seeing the witch (The Mimic), the young child (Cassie) fought to escape, almost got burnt (Most likely got badly injured after the elevator crash,), but was scarred (Felt betrayed by "Gregory" but wasn't aware that it was infact The Mimic who cut the elevator!) Later, she lived on to grow up, but way later decided to return to the forest (The Pizzaplex Basement) to get her revenge on the witch (Who Cassie might still believe is Gregory who tried to kill her!) So could this be foreshadowing a future installment to Security Breach's story?!?!?!?!
I actually think the cadet story is about Circus Baby, with Elizabeth being scooped up by Circus Baby and possessing her. This would mean she technically escaped but with a scar. She came back willingly thanks to Michael and later went to the pizza place. That's where Elizabeth finally passed on and Circus Baby fulfilled her purpose. The house that they enter is what burns, meaning the house itself was the oven, just like the pizza place.
I think the second candy cadet story reminded me much more of Cassidy; Something bad happened at the pizza plex, she a while later returned, got help from "gregory", when they reached the sinkhole, and it was too late. Gregory was revealed to be the mimic trying to escape, and kill cassidy as it does.
I think the orphanage thing is wrong because in the last game we see Gregory's room in the lower levels. I believe they met when Cassies friend didn't show up for her party and Gregory snuck into the pizzaplex, consoled her and they became friends. She's wearing Roxy's makeup, maybe they met after Roxy tried distracting her but was called on stage or something.
I would almost wonder if the story about a witch would be about Cassies dad coming back to the pizzaplex only to be turned into a staff Bot to give Cassie the vanny mask Bc the candy cadet told Cassie a story that was basically foreshadowing
The thought of Cassie’s dad having no say in becoming (or haunting) the mask bot and basically dooming his own daughter to death and all he can do is watch is really one of the most nonchalant darkest things this series has ever implied.
I think the second Candy Cadet's story is about Cassie. The witch is obviously the Mimic/William Afton, the Boy is Gregory and Mimic. Something happened with Cassie, Gregory and Fazbear Entertainment, Cassie went back to the Pizzeria to fight the witch but her helper was the witch/Mimic. In the canon ending she steps into the oven/little house/elevator and the Mimic kills her, getting their last meal. Random fun fact: Cassie's name is too similar to Cassidy, so, probably a prequel?
That's a very interesting theory! Well done superhorrorbro Mike!(that would explain why a lot of people believe help wanted 2 is between and the before and aftermath of fnaf help wanted 1, fnaf security breach and the ruin DLC! Honestly I do feel sorry for all the animatronics are left to rot in the abandoned pizza plex well everyone except for Monty! Even now I still have suspicions about that dangerous alligator robot!) Like you said typical fazbear entertainment cutting corners to save money but later backfires! I suppose that's karma for trying to cover their past mistakes!(I have seen a lot of people who have done irresponsible actions before and even unacceptable actions but Fazbear entertainment took it to the next level!) Anyway I feel sorry for poor Cassie she never knew what happened to her father! If it was me I would be confused and wonder what happened to my parents!
This game was so interesting to watch when I saw the videos. Now, with the Story Explained, I have a deeper understanding of the game myself. It's possible we are Cassie's dad, but what if that was part of the illusion. I mean, everything is seen in VR lenses, but my point is what if it's Cassie's dad in an animatronic form. Yet, he still sees himself as human. In the world of FNAF, it's not too far fetched of an idea
I really hope someone picked up Freddy’s dialog in the cake mini game, he says something along the lines with “you are a Fasbear technician, aren’t you?”. I thought this would be included in the evidence but haven’t seen anyone mentioning it at all.
Am I the only one who believes the next part of the Security Breach is Vanessa not only rescuing Cassie, but putting an end to all of this? All those disappearances, all that suffering, all those who she took away under the influence of Glitchtrap....now to become the hero of the story? That would be an amazing conclusion
there is a secret bonnie mask that the character says looks familiar. Bonnie is their favorite, there was 4 bullies back in the day, is he one of the bullies from back in the day? the sprite does look similar to cassie clothes and all.
Ok. Hear me out! So am I the only one who believes the mimic just copied Cassie’s Dad in order to get out and the first ending is it coming out the rejuvenating chamber AS the character we play as? Therefore being able to pose as an employee technician with access to staff bots and the AI? We hat would make sense since the mimic looks as if it was a human with hair and skin. It also explains the double Vannessa ending with one being a robot and Freddy finally being able to see Vanny since his eyes weren’t integrated into the system until he took Roxie’s eyes. It would also explain why “her dad” was into Bonnie so much…it’s William relearning his previous life. Although this takes place in between security breach and ruin so idk. Something is there.
I think the vanny at the end is actually the mimic. And he is destroying the william afton (green rabbit) as he is showing himself as the true villian. So Vanny is now the mimic. Vanessa is free with greg somewhere, cassie is who knows where
Not to be unfair, but hasn’t Fnaf gotten just too complicated and basically lost focus of its original premise/tone. The movie could’ve been a fresh start for the franchise, but it was just more of a homage if anything. I just feel like Fnaf isn’t really worth following or theorising about anymore.
Especially with all the Mimic fans all around. Cringe as f-. If anything, Funtimes are the first Mimics so be a fan of them. Even they have more personality.
Put bluntly, why are you here if that’s your view? Of course you can decide if something has gotten too convoluted or not, but this particular channel runs on horror games, and FNAF is a horror franchise. The creator has every reason to keep covering it as long as people are interested. I ignore parts of the lore myself, but I still find others’ speculations fun, and they only take a few minutes.
@@John-fk2ky Okay, fair point. I’m just saying we should acknowledge more that the franchise has been going south in a few areas. I didn’t mean to imply people like Mike should be forbidden from doing videos speculating about it. I just feel we shouldn’t be afraid to call out the series for it’s glaring flaws.
I remember there was a theory about Bonnie and characters named Jeremy being connected in some way so to me if that's the case then it's possible that Cassie's father could be named Jeremy too, but that could just be me since the father hasn't been told or shown to have lost some part of his face or head so maybe not but thought it was worth mentioning
I'm going to have to sorta disagree with the whole father thing. I also like to point out that cutout of Gregory comforting Cassie within context is more in line with him comforting her during a birthday party no one came too.
I know I'm late but I'm glad that your explaining this by the way if you compare sb ruin and Help Wanted 2 how they charge Cassie's model to something more better because a lot of people dislike Cassie's model in sb ruin but anyway I'm glad they charge her model And great content 😉😃 Keep up the good work

yeah, cause when (SPOILERS) roxy gets crushed in ruin, she says “dont worry, im sure your friends will show up this time.” implying there was no one there
With the candy cadet stories, it seems like Vanessa was able to overcome Glitchetraps control but has returned to help Gregory in stopping the Mimic.

I interpreted 'the scar' as the party where nobody showed up...an emotional scar, rather than a physical one.
yeah i thought that too
I thought the boy and the witch are the same person in the story like the witch turned in to an little boy to lead the woman to her doom
Yeah I agree

That makes a lot of sense actually.
The problem is they've been low-key trying to retcon those bits to move away from Afton.
you shoud have a oscur
Honestly I thought this video wouldn’t come out for at least another week but then I forgot who I was talking about. Always amazing how he gets his videos out so fast while making them so good
A real Chad to the horror community
Yep 😊
Same
When I was five I played FNaF 2, didn't even know there was lore to it, was a real good time, after sister location though I forgot about it, didn't even remember it existed. Then after help wanted I found it, man I was too engrossed into afterwards, a shame I forgot it existed.
Hopefully there’s gonna be a ruin 2 or smth
The lores progress so much that it is start to become messy lol, looking forward to see the next direction tho.
I wonder what they will do with Cassidy? Is she still alive? will she become a future character.
Think u mean 3, also in that case it was a security or safty room that animatronics cant enter
with candy cadet's second story, it's more about Cassie isn't it? She's literally lured right to her doom by the voice of a boy she trusts. it's probably alluding to her having escaped the pizzaplex before when something bad happened and possibly her father is the one that stopped it. We know she had that birthday party where no one came and have imagery of her bawling her eyes out at the pizzaplex we aren't sure about anyway.
Yeah I agree it just makes more sense to be cassie.
i agree, and in this interpretation, story 2 sounds like a prophency to future stories of fnaf series🤔
The issue is that she doesn't have a lifelong scar that was caused by the Mimic, atleast from what we know.
@@spencerman07 I think her lifelong scar would be being betrayed by Gregory
it could be a metaphorical scar, like trauma from whatever happened she was crying about or possibly losing her dad.
Thank you Mike for keeping us up to date on everything horror! We appreciate you. Don't forget to take some time for yourself this Christmas ❤
So you mean to say
The person who we play as in fnaf 2 is also cassies father and possibly one of Michael's friends who helped in bite of 83
@@multiverseofgaming2129 yeah, somebody theorized he might even be phone dude from fnaf 3, since hes so friendly with mike and half suggests they're both fazbear employees or were at some point
Agreed, so that means we have two Five Nights at Freddy's 4 bullies Fates explained Michael was the main character for a while and then he got scooped and then burned alive in Fnaf 6, and now we have Cassie's father but that means we now have two fully faiths unexplained the guy in the Chica mask and the one in the Freddy mask.
well they DID tell us to "not forget jeremy"

I think that Cassie is crying because no one came to her birthday party and Gregory saw her in the Pizza Plex and is comforting her.
I don't think we can count of the books being canon to the games, though.
Same. They can't just leave us with that cliffhanger at the end of the Ruin DLC. I am waiting for another DLC to know what happens next.
I feel like a lot of things in this video are flawed I don't see the orphanage part in this making sense
@@ronanaviation9520 he probably had that idea because there is a security breach ending where Gregory is sleeping in a box in some alley.
@@TVHead003 yeah

Quick theory: Cassie's dad died in an accident involving the mask bot leading him to possess it
Thank you for the incredible insight Sherlock
13:00 It more sounds like Cassie being lured in by the mimic and escaping but then dying
Thanks for the explanation SHB. Can't wait for new theories for this game
I interpreted it like this
It's after Security Breach but before Ruin.
I really want to know who the king is???? Like he's been trapped in that game forever! He's got to be someone.
The 2nd Candy story reads very differently to me. I agree it's about Vanessa, but I think the order of events are:
-Vanessa is trapped by Glitch-Trap in HW1
-Vanessa escapes by herself in the Holiday update in HW1
-She keeps working for Fazbear entertainment, looking for a way to sabotage Glitch-Trap
-Gregory offers his help, but he's already infected with the mimic1 virus
-Gregory betrays Vanessa to put her back under Glitch-Trap's control
I think it's further context of what happened before SB and, specifically, who was infected when.
The cut out with Cassie and the Roxys (the first cut outs we see with the Vanny mask on) could be from when her dad worked in the pizzaplex
The next cut out with her crying and Gregory helping her could be from when her dad disappeared and she ended up in the orphanage, meeting Gregory for the first time
And the cut out with Cassie crying even more and the Missing Gregory posters on the wall could be from when Gregory maybe escaped the orphanage to go to the pizzaplex, leaving Cassie on her own.
YES finally i have been waited for this, ty!!!
Thanks for showing us this as there’s so much info in the game!
Not Frights. Tales
Also Tales is fully canon to the games, so it is the same backstory
@@Personian Okay I thought Tales was a sequel to Frights.
@@amberjackson4882 It is, but The Mimic isn't in Frights
@@Personian Okay I got confused as to which series the Mimic was in.
Yeah but it's just a robot, who has no feelings
*You have me inspired to start making vids.* Much love and major props to you Hero bro 😙🤨
I really don’t think the Springtrap parts were ever scanned into the VR game, that wouldn’t make the Mimic. The Mimic AI was invented a long time ago and it was its scanned circuit boards that infected the VR game, and seeing William’s crimes caused it to start mimicking him.
Tbh, I really like the fact that it was Cassie's Dad who gave roxy the mask she has in ruin
One thing I know about Gregory is that he was helping Cassie to escape and probably destroy the mimic plus the secret room can be the true ending and the elevator ending can be either the bad or natural ending
I really love how the game confirmed MatPat’s theory of Cassie’s dad being Bonnie Bro. Like that’s just so wild. I love it.
If you look on the maskbot you can see there are actually tear marks, 2 lines are clean under the eyes, probably insinuating crying.
It makes a lot more sense, although I’m a bit confused why Freddy had a prototype sticker on his foot, also was the BurnTrap Ending just a reminder of the old games 🤷♂️, but it could have been a teaser so who knows
Burntrap is implied to simply be Gregory's imagination running wild
@@sapphocortez2287 Well it is a secret Ending not as much a true Ending so it makes sense, it was like a final goodbye to the old games if you think about it
7:18 your player is cassie Dad. Cassie Dad work for fnaf and Bonnie was his favorite
Great job Mike!thank you for clearing this up!!🎉👏🏻👏🏻
I thought you were playing as a staff bot. I mean, they didn't show anyone other staff, than Vanessa in the Pizzaplex. Like they didn't have any thing that hinted that human still work there.
Instead of moving forward, this game reshuffle the deck a little and provide some context. Which I'm all for, great game!
12:58 *Or* is the second story referring to Cassie? Think about it, the young woman, (Cassie) when she was a child, was lead by a sweet voice (The Mimic, using Gregory's voice) through a forest (The Ruined Pizzaplex) without hesitation. But after seeing the witch (The Mimic), the young child (Cassie) fought to escape, almost got burnt (Most likely got badly injured after the elevator crash,), but was scarred (Felt betrayed by "Gregory" but wasn't aware that it was infact The Mimic who cut the elevator!)
Later, she lived on to grow up, but way later decided to return to the forest (The Pizzaplex Basement) to get her revenge on the witch (Who Cassie might still believe is Gregory who tried to kill her!)
So could this be foreshadowing a future installment to Security Breach's story?!?!?!?!
What im worried about is the symbolism the MOON might portray in the secret ending when he is the one who is puppeted to deliver the glitchtrap plush
Mike, I’ve noticed that you have been posting videos a lot quicker lately, make sure you take breaks man!
I think the second candy cadet story reminded me much more of Cassidy;
Something bad happened at the pizza plex, she a while later returned, got help from "gregory", when they reached the sinkhole, and it was too late. Gregory was revealed to be the mimic trying to escape, and kill cassidy as it does.
I am pretty sure m.x.e.s was not made by Vanessa but is much older.
The second story sounds more like Cassie to me than Vanessa. The next game will be her coming back with age and experience and so on and so on . . . .
I would almost wonder if the story about a witch would be about Cassies dad coming back to the pizzaplex only to be turned into a staff Bot to give Cassie the vanny mask
Bc the candy cadet told Cassie a story that was basically foreshadowing
One theory i dont agree with is gregory meeting cassie in adoption i think that gregory was the only child to come on the day of her birthday party
Help wanted 2 has a super complex story that I couldn’t understand at first, thanks for explaining it!
The fact that you see a brain inside the mask bot when using the mask after getting it.
I don't think that The Vanny mask from her suit, and the V.A.N.N.I mask are the same.
help wanted was pretty good in my opinion CANT wait to see this video!
IT WASN'T GREGORY WHO DROPPED THE ELEVATOR! IT WAS THE MIMIC!!! 😬
Could Cassie's father be the the former kid who were the Bonnie mask years ago during spring Bonnie and fredbear era.

there is a secret bonnie mask that the character says looks familiar. Bonnie is their favorite, there was 4 bullies back in the day, is he one of the bullies from back in the day? the sprite does look similar to cassie clothes and all.
Complete Fnaf (all fnaf cannon games) story explained must happen. SHB must make this a video
I knew it was cassies father it was a theory at first but now I know
Super awesome video. I really enjoyed it!
Vanessa is free with greg somewhere, cassie is who knows where
I really hope we get another game following up Cassie's story and also thanks for the video Theory as always Mike!
I don’t actually think candy cadets first story is meant to have meaning. It just seems like a funny gag having candy cadet shill out for freddy’s
I know I'm late but I'm glad that your explaining this by the way if you compare sb ruin and Help Wanted 2 how they charge Cassie's model to something more better because a lot of people dislike Cassie's model in sb ruin but anyway I'm glad they charge her model And great content 😉😃 Keep up the good work
The Princess in princess quest has been confirmed to be Cassidy, not Vanessa as shown in the game files where you can find the princess sprite under the name Cassidy.
SHB videos feels like he no longer makes any proper research, which is sad. :/ I used to like his FNAF videos so much.
I can't can Tori agreed besides the fact that Vanessa was behind the door and and stuff from princess quilt tell us that as the chica looks at us in ucn chica tell us that she was the first and she saw everything.
Heyyy mike! your videos are awesome❤
