Glad to see it's back, even 1st floor only. Let's hope it will be fully opened in 24. Went through it a year after opening and it was great. Thanks for the trip through the ghost ship!
The music on 12:37 kind of creeped me out when I went on the boat. Imagine just chill music while someone’s being killed, eaten, or cut open. Imagine being on a boat and you see a dead man with his guts out on his bed and that music is playing
I remember it being very very very hot the first year it opened in 2010. Glad it's there, serving as the maze for the three piers. Missing the oversized maze that used to be under the log flume.
My family and I have been on this Ghost Ship many times. It's sad to remember how it was in the very beginning and only having 1 floor of it opened now. However, I have to say, it looked scarier than what I thought it would be. I'll be down in August and will definitely be going on it again. Thanks for the video, Joey!
I was in the group right before Joey! I was really impressed with the experience and it was a lot of fun! Definitely worth the six tickets! But to be fair I never went on it before yesterday and I’m easily spooked. 😂 Also shoutout to the actors! They did an amazing job last night. Especially the girl in the hallway and the dude in the cell. Those were the best parts! And I’m pretty sure that guy in the video is one of Morey’s CEOs Geoff. Cool Easter Egg!
Awesome to see the only haunted attraction is now open since 2019 The ghost ship is cool reminds me of Halloween 🎃 my favorite holiday but what I truly miss is Dracula s castle witch was on the boardwalk way back in the 60-90 s the boat ride was more scary than the castle but still was one of my favorite attractions on the boardwalk until it caught on fire and was destroyed and now a water park is in its spot where the castle once stood years ago!!!!!!
Nothing had a more ominous feel than that castle on the boardwalk. We always stayed farther up north on the boardwalk but would walk down once a trip. The music, decor, employees in costume was always such an experience. The old Dante’s inferno was an amazing looking ride but lame inside.
I went through it many years ago..I loved the music that was played on the outside.. went through when it was two floors and I have to tell you, I was very impressed. I had to pull five kids through it. Great attraction!
Darn, wish I was there. The past few summers my wife and I visited Wildwood, the Ghost Ship was closed. I never got a chance to go through it. I was born and raised in NJ. We moved out of State years ago. I am 53 years old. The first time I went through Castle Dracula was 1981 when I was 11. I also like Skual the old Pirate Ship, Wacky Shack. Back in the day Wildwood had alot of haunted houses. Loved those times back then. Things are different now. My wife and I and our son got to ride Dantes Dungeon last summer. I used to go through that in the 80's before it had its makeover. It looked more like Hell before. It still looks pretty cool now. If they ever get the second floor up and running would love to see a full walkthrough video. Thank you. I just subscribed to your channel.
Thanks so Much for showing this, I was in Atlantic City in 1984 walking that Whole Board Walk while my Wife and I were on Our Honeymoon there and it was a Blast, I just wanted to Thank You again for Bring Back some Memories we had there, here it is June 17 2024 and All this week is going to Be Very HOT So Stay Cool, and I am A New Subscriber to your Channel so it will be Great watching All your Video's, just to keep the memories Alive, I am from Norfolk, MA.....and I hope to Pay another Visit there someday, So Thanks Again......Your New Fan Don
Nice vid ^^ i really like haunted houses through youtube. I am a real scaredy cat so i wont ever go in one in real life. But i really enjoy the footage of hhn and other spooky things. Keep up the great work!
Thanks again Joey. It looks cool but I don’t think I could do it, maybe when I was younger! I think I remember that castle they had on a pier years ago, that I think was scary too.😂
We were upset when we went a little over a month ago, and it wasn’t open… Dante’s Inferno was actually pretty okay. I’m just waiting for the day that the rebuild Draculas Castle.
@WildwoodVideoArchive I don't see why they wouldn't; unless staffing is just not possible and or Moreys won't want to pay to fully restore the 2nd level.
wish there were this many scare actors when i did it last weekend was very underwhelming which is sad because i went in really excited to finally do this
Me & my daughter went on years ago when it was both floors. The lady in front of was screaming at everything! It was too funny. Of course she took the chicken way out. We went through the pitch black room with the giant tubes! It was 10 tickets then
I have been a couple scream attractions that their cross everybody members Dracula‘s castle but does anybody else remember the other attraction “Frankenstein castle
Does anyone remember when pirates of wildwood was way cooler on the outside and inside? It’s so goofy now it used to be like one of the top tier rides there in my opinion
Sad to see you didn't do a shout out to Joshua Moonshine. He's such a staple on the boardwalk every year and such a talented artist! Wildwood doesn't have that big of an art scene, promote it when you can!!!!
When i was 16, an actor took off my glasses and kissed me forcefully in a different boardwalk haunted house that is thankfully gone. Since then, i feel BEWARE for many reasons when live actors involved.
I was 10 when I went through a haunted attraction at a place called Sickman's Haunted Mill here in PA. I only wanted to go because I didn't want to be without my mom, typical little kid thing. But, it was a little fun and thank God nothing happened to me there. The only thing that scared me was a fake hand when an actor held out their hand to have me shake it. I knew the hand wasn't real on top of their real hand. I don't like rubbery fake hands, very creepy like Claw's hand in Inspector Gadget 2 after he tried to get the Mayor to shake it and when she did, the fake hand came off and freaked her out, Poor Mayor 😢.
Omg so crazy you said that in the late 70s my sister and I went to the Dracula haunted house my sister had a tube top on and the a worker pulled her tube down while riding in the boat... she was so scared and started crying... some people are so sick... I was really young then so didn't know what to do... I wish I had the intelligence I have now because not only would he get fired.... I would've beat the trap outta him..
to be fair, I went on it last night and it was far better in person. It would be really hard for the video to show the true experience. Like what Joey says at the end.
Glad to see it's back, even 1st floor only. Let's hope it will be fully opened in 24. Went through it a year after opening and it was great. Thanks for the trip through the ghost ship!
I love this ride I got to go in with my friends

No on the surf side pier there is Dante’s dungeon
I'm so glad it's back!! I can't wait until the 2nd floor is back next year too!
I will be there in 14 days, I really hope to see you somewhere Joey, gonna be there for a full week!!
I went through it many years ago..I loved the music that was played on the outside.. went through when it was two floors and I have to tell you, I was very impressed. I had to pull five kids through it. Great attraction!
Same i like the music of the Ghost Ship
Im so mad i was too scared to go on this when i went during the first year opening
Thank, I will try it on Monday

I would love it if it was open all year around for all the people that love ghost attractions to see, I hope they have a gift shop?!
They used to have one for that ride but not anymore. They do have merch for it at the Morey Store
Gmorn Joey n Always love your informative videos ❤You ROCK!!!🎉
Excellent all around

Do you have the wild pass
I am so glad this attraction is back open and it looks truly amazing. But, it doesn’t look as great and scary as it used to be when it first opened
This is beat. Castle Dracula needs to make its return with the dungeon boat ride bigger and scarier than before
We were upset when we went a little over a month ago, and it wasn’t open… Dante’s Inferno was actually pretty okay. I’m just waiting for the day that the rebuild Draculas Castle.
Cant wait for this to fully open to its former glory!
Don’t expect it to be fully open ever again.
@WildwoodVideoArchive
I don't see why they wouldn't; unless staffing is just not possible and or Moreys won't want to pay to fully restore the 2nd level.
I can assure you the floor will never be open ever again
wish there were this many scare actors when i did it last weekend was very underwhelming which is sad because i went in really excited to finally do this
Watch out for the Giant Ferris wheel. It broke down the other day. I read about it on Google. Did they fix the cage that little girl fell from?
I went the wrong way and someone came in front and I passed them and then they screamed and chased me
I remember the old pirate ship. was that in the same place as this?
Me & my daughter went on years ago when it was both floors. The lady in front of was screaming at everything! It was too funny. Of course she took the chicken way out. We went through the pitch black room with the giant tubes! It was 10 tickets then
Did they open up the second floor yet Joey
they don't plan on it yet
Is it better than brigantine castle
I just went on this ride and im 11 years old and its really scary I came out shaking
Where is this place?
Was the part still there where you went outside and then back in by squeezing thru that black latex room that compressed you?
Best part of wildwood
I have been a couple scream attractions that their cross everybody members Dracula‘s castle but does anybody else remember the other attraction “Frankenstein castle
Awesome! Haven't been there in a few weeks, did Moby Dick ever open?
No not yet. They are still working on it daily
I left wildwood the day before on the 27th i dont believe it
Oh hey. It’s Sargent Billy fused to the wall again
Cool
Does anyone remember when pirates of wildwood was way cooler on the outside and inside? It’s so goofy now it used to be like one of the top tier rides there in my opinion
Walked thru that ship years ago. Scared the💩out of me
I was just there yes and they where close

@@WildwoodVideoArchive Moonshine he does the painting you walked by him on your way to the pier
@@WildwoodVideoArchive who’s Highpitch
Sad to see you didn't do a shout out to Joshua Moonshine. He's such a staple on the boardwalk every year and such a talented artist! Wildwood doesn't have that big of an art scene, promote it when you can!!!!
Hey. I always promote Josh. He’s a great guy. We’ve done 4 articles and two videos on him in the past.
Watched
Wait. What?
Was this always a haunted ride?
Great presentation but, as a haunt worker, dont say 'Get out!' Or "Go!". Kind of a haunt 101, rule.
Damn it i was just there until wednsday
You gotta come back now!
Ehhh. Dracula's Castle deserves a comeback. Boat ride and walkthrough
I was here today
When i was 16, an actor took off my glasses and kissed me forcefully in a different boardwalk haunted house that is thankfully gone. Since then, i feel BEWARE for many reasons when live actors involved.

Ghost ship is the only thing Wildwood has over Ocean City.
Wild wood has everything over ocean city
Okay than
I've made better home haunts than this. No scare factor at all.
Holy, 4 minutes of yadda yadda at the beginning of the video. What a waste of time.
Too scary for me.
You just saved me 6 tickets
to be fair, I went on it last night and it was far better in person. It would be really hard for the video to show the true experience. Like what Joey says at the end.
Can I get a shout out
Don't show so much of your face!
I did not like this, it was SCARY😨
It should of been a ride! Not a walk through
they didnt have enough space for a ride
@@WildwoodVideoArchiveyou used to be able to ride it?? On the orange and green ‘rails’
ThatwasratherLAME!
Is the moby dick ride open let
Ehh again actors... HAUNTED ATTRACTIONS REQUIRES ANIMATRONICS,NOT ACTORS....
Not really…
Animatronics don’t have fluid motion If you ever rode that dungeon ride it’s less scary because of the animatronics
awesome. I'm comment #666. I never know if that's a bad sign or not. well if you're superstitious I'd say it is.
