@@Spidr-Man That's exactly the point, no one else played Superman near as good as Reeve did, and that's why they keep rebooting the character. Most of them were just because of acting, Snyder's version tried something different that didn't work, cause people want to see the normal Superman in the regular DCU, not the Injustice version. And that's why James Gunn is now trying something new, but still attaching to what they did back in the 70s/80s

Your not thinking about Christopher Reeves , he fit superman perfectly. Superman didn't start being built like a bodybuilder until the 90s, he was always a strongly built man, but a farmers big and strong, not a ripped and huge muscled man. There would be no way they could explain how no one noticed Clark was superman if he was huge, shredded, and muscled man lol, it's hard enough now to think his glasses hide who he is.

None of these guys give off the Superman vibe tbh. Superman wasn't just tall, blue eyed with dark hair and handsome. He was supposed to epitomise manliness whilst still retaining that boyish charm and innocence. These are let downs tbh after Cavil. Routh, Cavil, Welling and Reeve were great Supermen in terms of looks.

Cavil definitely looked like superman but I don’t think he was a very good one, especially his Clark Kent there wasn’t much difference. To me Tyler Hoeclin the best superman we’ve had in a minute.

I think Vin Diesel would actually make a perfect Lex Luthor, considering that Gunn is going the route of casting Marvel stars in DC roles. And David Corenswet would actually be a better fit for Conner Kent / Superboy than Superman since he literally looks like Henry Cavill, why couldn't they just keep Cavill, have Luthor come back, donate human DNA to meld it with Kryptonian and create Superboy? Smdh
