Matt visits OTAFEST for the first time and gets interviewed by Alfred Lim after commenting on the finals of the Overwatch tournament at OTAFEST.
We apologize for the angle, but this was an impromptu interview so we weren't prepared.

Good GMs know ... “One big one or many little ones”, go one big. To many small attacks have to many possibilities to critical.
I absolutely loved being there for this panel! I dragged my sister to this panel and it FINALLY got her into watching Critical Role because she was absolutely amazed by how funny and awesome Matt is!

I've had a player try to ruin the story once. He almost died doing it but one lucky roll saved him. Then I ended up turning a heist into an Ocean's Eleven situation. Matt is right, action's have consequences.

Wait, did that guy just, he shouldn't play with his girlfriend, because of his marriage? Wouldn't the wife not be more upset about the girlfriend?
Sadly for me I can’t do accents but I do mimic, like if I try to do it on purpose it never comes out right. However if I am talking to someone or singing along to something I will find myself mimicking them almost perfectly. I will also randomly fall into one during a conversation, but do it on purpose? Nope not happening. It’s annoying when your talking to your husband and suddenly find yourself in Russia lol.

feREXtheBLUE yeah I have watched a few of them it’s how I can pull it off for a few minutes after listening to one but then it fades out. Then I will be talking to someone and randomly end up in a different country lmao. My daughter has the same thing I can always tell what UA-cam videos she has been watching because she speaks like them for a few hours after. It’s hilarious here in the southern US when your child is suddenly British 😂. Anyway I know I can do it I slip into it often enough it’s getting my brain and vocals to do it on command that’s an issue.
Speaking of which how the hell do you get into the Fate series? Where do I start? I understand certain parts/shows are like alternate timelines and stuff but....
Because of all the divergent timelines you can pretty much watch any of them first,
start with fate/zero, its... dark
I second starting with fate/zero
I find that when ppl start with fate zero, they go into the main story (fifth war) with super high expectations of more expanded cast stories and character explorations, only to be disappointed (in varying degrees) that it's a story of just one dude.
I personally recommend just watching Fate Stay Night or FSN UBW. Don't worry about knowing (partly) the ending of Fate Zero. It's a prequel anyway.
Now I want Marisha to cosplay as Sephiroth just to fuck with Matt XD

I DID PLAY TITANFALL 2 BUT SOME FUCKBUTT PEOPLE DIDN'T FIX THE GAME RIGHT AND NOW I HAVE THE VC++ OR SOMESHIT ERROR AND I CAN NEVER PLAY THE DAMN GAME AGAIN. IT'S LIKE EATING HALF A BURGER, DRINKING HALF A MILKSHAKE AND THEN THEY TAKE IT AWAY FROM YOU BECAUSE THE CUPS AREN'T ORGANIC MATERIAL. AND THEY DON'T PAY YOU BACK! YEAH I'M FUCKING PISS! Digging through the couch I discover a white blank plastic credit card with a chip installed in it's base. I pocket the item and elated to find a $20 bill in the couch I make my way to the store. Bored and broke, when it is time to pay for my purchases, I try to use the blank card anticipating failure. But the purchase is approved.
I test it again, seeing how far the credit limit on this blank card will be once it runs dry only to be approved each time. I spend hours in the store, racking up a bill easily in the thousands and each time the card goes through with no question on it's validity from the clerk.
Satisfied, I stroll out of the store with a heaping shopping cart full of goods until I am stopped by two black suited figures in sunglasses. One of them opens the passenger rear door of their all black sedan, motioning for me to enter.
"Mr. Thrower, you need to come with us, and we will be taking that Carte Blanche off of your hands." Little did I know I was the unwitting recipient of a powerful Technocracy artifact, and so began my introduction into a World of Darkness.
