when they are not filming they can have any hair color they want... they die it for the show
mackenziewalker Dom naturally has dark hair so probably wanted it back for a bit. Kat had to go blonder for Maze Runner.
kat's natural color is strawberry blonde. its blonde with a slight tint of red

At the start they are fighting over where to sit but in a joking way.
Interviewer asked what are Jace and Clary's next obstacles.
Kat and Dom answer Jonathan/Sebastian, missing mortal instruments, Valentine out there being a bad guy, unrest in the downworld, Jace and Clary fighting their feelings of being in love.
Interviewer asked if we will see more of Jace and Clary's special Angel blood abilities.
Kat and Dom answer yes as they will need each other and to use the new powers in order to overcome the obstacles, Kat said they will use their emotions to learn how to control the new powers.
Interviewer asked what are they most looking forward to in the remaining 4 episodes.
Kat and Dom both said the end of episode 20 but then discussed that it really isn't the very end of the episode but 3 scenes before the end (we now know they were talking about Valentine raising the Angel, Jace being killed and Clary using the wish to bring Jace back to life) this is their favourite scene because magic happened on set with all the actors involved making it work. Dom said a lot of what was filmed was not on the page of the script so basically the actors made it up as the scenes were being shot,
Kat said working together with the actors for 2 and a half years and knowing the characters and how they would act helped them make the scenes work.
They talk about the trailer that was shown and the fight between Jace and Sebastian where Jace gets hung, Dom said it wasn't fun to film and he didn't enjoy it and doesn't want to do that again, interviewer jokes that Clary was probably laughing but Kat said NO.
Dom said the scene between Jace and Sebastian is about their relationship coming to a head and a discovery of who each of them are and why they are the way they are, it all comes to an emotional confrontation.
Kat adds that all of the actors were shocked with the brutality of the last 4 episodes and how it is dark and the danger they are faced with becomes real in a very personal way for all the characters.
