    Ok my favorite line was "This tank ain't big enough for the two of us" in a cowboy voice. I have enjoyed watching the whole series. Happy to see you have learned so much. Now all I can say is "I need one of the Nexus burst nems."

    The fact you took on creating a reef tank, says quite a lot (positively)
    And congratulations on not only being 'a reefer', but having been a successful reefer. It's not always easy or pretty, but you stuck out the moments that make most throw in the towel and forged ahead to a functioning reef tank. Well done

    that’s the reality of this hobby, or any other hobby in general. most of us dedicate the time to clean & maintain the tank after work hours. but yes, priorities change. and i know, people don’t wanna say it, but they lose interest for the hobby overall. but people find & rekindle their like or love for the hobby down the road… like i did 😂 started in 2016, moved, and rekindled in 2019. so i’m sure you’ll find that interest in the future again, guaranteed. it may be 5 or 10 years down the road… but the itch will be back 😂

    The question is now, are you going to have a tank in your home?

    I was into the hobby 28 years ago. Recently, I have been thinking about getting back into it.
    But if I am going to spend 25k plus. I want a three large tank system that all look amazing.
    Well, I have seen at least a dozen tanks by influencers that just do not impress me, and many are abandoned or total rebuilds. These are tanks like this with unlimited budget and many seasoned professionals either directly or indirectly working on them.
    So I am at the point that I have a very hard time budgeting the funds for a system that I feel has a 50-50 chance of failing.
    What should I do?

    Awew you back. 👍
    120 beginner tank ,I started with a 10 gallon and learned a lot by your videos and the other Asian gentleman. Now I have a 7 ft 100 🐟 only & 50 gallon low boy,lots of ups and downs. Return pumps failing,leaves, led lights actung up,power outrageous. one crash(low boy). This hobby is not for the faint handed cause few of my friends quit. Happy reefing.

    I'm just curious at what point do you think a tank becomes too big to be managed by one person?

  • @disdisat1
    @disdisat1 3 місяці тому

    How do you manage anemones to not go in to Wave Maker? Your wave make is covered with something?

    • @tidalgardens
      @tidalgardens  3 місяці тому

      They go in all the time and get chopped up. The cuttings of this particular anemone tend to survive. I do not recommend it though. They make anemone guards but I don't know how well they work. Best bet if you are worried about it is to leave exposed pumps out of the display.
