7:42 I can see why the cast Keanu Reeves as a kid because his mannerisms, and his voice are very similar to Robert Urich. The problem is Keanu has a bit of a deeper voice than Robert even at this age.
I had a tv dub of this on VHS back in 86. I used to think Keanu’s character was so cool (even though he’s a complete dork most of the time in this). Since then, occasionally I’d find this movie on youtube and reminisce about the 80s. Now I’m almost 50 and, for the first time, I’m really feeling Michael sr’s pain and I need to take the angel’s and Lara’s advice to heart LOL. Youth is wasted on the young, yes, but there were problems back then, too - it’s all relative. And even with all of your wisdom now, you’d still make mistakes if you could ever go back. Still, it is hard to realize that you’re not a kid - or even a young adult - anymore, and to be able to embrace it with vitality. Memory Lane can be the most dangerous street your mind can steer down.
I Sean Finneran can tell that this Disney teenage fantasy movie from 1986 is one of the best Disney teenage fantasy movies ever made along with 14 going on 30.

@@Chris-bf7zb that's because it's a DVD rip. Disney released Student Exchange as part of their Disney Generations DVD lineup. However, they're extremely rare to find. Student exchange DVD can go between 50$ to over 100$ depending on the condition of the DVD copy.

Because its a waste of money and the Disney UK VHS opening is boring compared to Australia and new zealand and other countries with awesome and interesting vhs openings.
