Very cool! I am getting ready to order a fan motor as soon as I get her out to find the numbers. This seems easy enough and exactly what I was hoping to find. thank you. be in touch soon.
I have a f48g44a48 with a serial number GA97 4 speed blower motor I was told that has been modified to a 3 speed it is 1050 rpm and is rated for 240 volts what is a safe unit number to find.
Model number isn't enough. Programmable motors share a model number but can be programmed completely different. I'm glad I researched more about part spec and your warranty results before falling for the slick presentation.
Thank you so very much for responding to this comment. We have sold over 250,000 motors, so this video is an attempt to help our customers and not to be “slick”. Thank you regardless for taking the time to watch the video. In very few cases, the motor may be programmed differently, but the company that programmed the motor will put a secondary sticker on it to state what it is. With the limited information that you provided, this is what I believe you are speaking of. I’d be happy to discuss this with you further if you’d like. Have a wonderful day!
