I don't know why UA-cam recommended me this out of nowhere, but rewatching this made me realise why I always looked forward to E3. It was for these guys. Some of the best content Giant Bomb ever did came from E3.
And now they're all gone. Even E3 in this format is gone. We'll never get this again. And now I'm sad.

I don't think I've witnessed actual poetry until just now. Nothing else compares.
That’s nearly 50 E3s between Jeff and GI’s Andy MacNamara. Jeff plays their longevity for laughs in this clip, but I’d LOVE an interview with those two - maybe just between them - talking about what they’ve seen over the years.
God Jeff s reaction to Nintendo E3 was on point and priceless. Seeing that Live I laughed so much.

Okay but seriously im glad those people in the crowd during the Rage 2 music section had the same vacant expressions i just felt again. Because no major game I felt in recent times just went right over most peoples heads then this one in terms of this is not as popular as you think it is. this is not as good as you think it is. This will never sell what you hope it to be. It wasn't built to die, but you feel the sentiment is right there.

This is a super late reply, but in case you’re still curious - Matt Kessler (the guy standing up) was banned from Twitter for saying he was going to kill Dave Lang (guy in the red shirt) because he flipped him off while he was talking business with someone at E3. So he did a dramatic reading on this after show.

What's the story with this Matt Kessler? Never heard of him till this video.
A long time ago he was one of GB's interns. He now works for Sony. He was in a business meeting during E3 and saw Dave Lang give him the finger in the middle of a meeting. He jokingly said he was gonna "kill him" on twitter but because of twitter's zero tolerance policy, his twitter was immediately banned.
ArchKnight47 the guy in red looked pissed when the son part came up. Was he just looking pissed as a joke or being serious pissed?

ignore my last comment. so i just watched the whole E3 Nite episode. From what I understand Kessler was in a Sony meeting at E3. Lang flips him off through the window, what was supposedly a joke. Then humble brags about it on twitter (still light-hearted i think). Kessler clearly did not find it funny as it was a formal meeting. A twitter exchange brews, and ultimately Kessler tweets he's going to kill him [Dave Lang]. Kessler as a result gets banned from twitter, losing all 10k or so followers, social media presence, influence etc etc (he is now unbanned following the review). Queue Kesslers appearance at Giant Bomb @ Nite. Now you're up to date. The thing about the son: Lang's son posed for a picture the way Kessler mocks, Lang commenting how he possibly failed as a father because his son is posing for anime. Between father and son it can be a joke. But a third party (in this case Kessler) mocking it is crossing boundaries. Seems Lang is real pissed specifically at the way this situation turned out. Kessler is pissed that Lang started it in the first place. Thats the story form what I gather. You be the judge and let see how this all turns out at PAX.

Slick Nickles Rorie has one of those huge widescreen monitors. It’s been mentioned on the podcast before.
Kessler was an intern for GB. You can hear him in some TNT's. He was banned on twitter for saying he was gonna murder Dave Lang.
Rorie would constantly bring up him getting a new monitor. Predator 35 inches 3440 x 1440
