    You can get a shorter pan for more comfortable soaking if you have a dollar tree nearby. Then it may be less awkward having his short leg pressed in there. Just a thought for doggie's comfort. Great mom taking care of doggie paws so faithfully!! Thanks for video!

    My dog has white fur and I only am dealing with the itchy between the paws so I’ve just tried putting the solution in a spray bottle and put on some socks till it drys. Hope this helps for someone out there.

    You can also use apple cider vinegar/water mixture. Works just as well and not as messy.

    Hi!
    I think it doesn’t mater how many times doctor prescribe antibiotics to your Bulldog, this breed is high maintenance. From head to paws. We have been parents of an American Bulldog for about seven years and she is as expensive as is the price we paid for her. I have done warm with Apple cider vinegar and salt and deep her paws. I’m going to use the Betadine treatment because my bulldog paws look very bad right now.

    I use a treat dispenser (suction cup) on the wall of the tub and she will stand in there as long as the peanut butter is (about 10 mins).

    Thanks so much for all the tips. I’ve had Chico my English bulldog/American bulldog mix for almost 4 years now and I have been struggling with him licking his paws for a while now I will try this out next!! Anything you can suggest for shedding? Tua is sooo cute!

    • @HouseofWrinkles
      @HouseofWrinkles  3 роки тому +4

      Thank you so much!! I hope this tip helps Chico. Let us know.
      For shedding what we recommend is a bath at least every 2-3 weeks with brushing and Alaskan Salmon oil on the food. You can order this on Amazon. Nothing is going to stop shedding completely but these 2 things help tremendously. Also shedding can have a lot to do with what they eat. But instead of switching the food right away I would try these things first. Hope this helps! Thanks so much fir watching!!

  • @therichlife8657
    @therichlife8657 3 роки тому +3

    I’m definitely ordering that from Amazon right now.
    My 3 are constantly licking their paws.
    I’m not looking forward to the 5 minutes per paw with Bulldogs. I’ll have to put them in the bathtub.

    • @HouseofWrinkles
      @HouseofWrinkles  3 роки тому

      Awesome! Let us know how it works. You could just fill the tub and use the same water for all 3 ( one at a time probably lol) ☺️👍

    • @samanthab1923

      Just lay a bath mat in the bottom of the tub. Fill it & they won't scratch the porcelain. Comfy for them too.

    Yes I am going to be trying this once a day in hopes the incessant licking will subside and my dogs will get itchy relief! Thank you! I was wondering, do your dogs lick their paws after the soak since they are wet? I thought of putting an e-collar on them till they dry, would this be unnecessary?

    How often can you do this to the dogs paw? I imagine it kills the good bacteria too.

    • @HouseofWrinkles
      @HouseofWrinkles  Рік тому

      There shouldn’t be any good bacteria on the paws. That concept is for things they will ingest. You can soak the paws up to 2-3 times a day and it’s completely safe

      No it won’t. And in the video I mentioned it staining clothes but it actually washes right out. 👍 just make sure you mix it with water

    Can you just spray it on there then ?

    • @HouseofWrinkles
      @HouseofWrinkles  3 роки тому +2

      You can but you will definitely get better results if they actually soak for at least 5 minutes. The idea is to completely cleanse the feet from all potential allergens.

  • @adrewbateman1760
    @adrewbateman1760 Місяць тому

    It'd be so much easier to get a tub that he can soak all 4 at once. Imagine soaking each foot for a total of 20 mins when u can do all at once for 5 mins total.

    Question, my grandbaby, @BruceLee_Roy.Frenchie, we call him Bruce, Brucie, Brucie-Boy just turned 1yrs old 5/7/2023, developed a swollen soar from licking, keeps LICKING the already INFECTED soar on the side of his 2nd or middle toe which started bleeding today and this is day 3 he's on antibiotics, allegory meds, solution to flush and his right rear paw 🐾 that his first vet at PetSmart 🐕 looks worse today and yesterday. Next day or the day B4 yesterday his mommy, my daughter took him to his 2nd more TRADITIONAL vet who prescribed an additional antibiotic spray, said to add epsom salt to the solution flush water he was prescribed the day b4@ PetSmart and thankfully this vet gave him a cone to allow the soar to heal bc he won't be able to lick it. Since he arrived at 6 mo's old in November 2022, my daughter shared he suffers from allergies so 1st his testicles was swollen; vet prescribed a cream and it went away, I BELIEVE he received an allergy injection a few months back and again last month which to me does nothing for him; then he began scratching his chin until it bled, scratches his ears and that's when he received the 2nd allergy injection last month; July 8, I'm watching him LICKING and biting his paw like never B4, record it so HIS mommy can see. It got worse from his licking. I treated it with triple antibiotic from Dollar Tree, compared to Neosporin it states in on the box but worked wonders for me 2yrs back for a fungal infection I suffered with for a year, THEREAFTER my prescribed medication cream made worse but the triple antibiotic completely cured over night and ever since I have never suffered again. It nearly healed Brucie-Boy BUT he kept LICKING it off, it got swollen really bad so he went to the vet. My question for these suffering puppies or animals that can't TALK to us is, IS THE LICKING THE CULPRIT AND ARE THESE VETERINARIANS PRESCRIBING MEDICATION THAT DON'T WORK JUST LIKE MY DOCTOR PRESCRIBES MEDICATION THAT NEVER WORK!!! THIS WASN'T THE CASE A FEW DECADES AGO, THIS IS ANIMAL CRUELTY😤😡!!! MEDICATION USE TO WORK IMMEDIATELY FOR HUMANS OR ANIMALS😤🤔😡!!!
