Very nice design. We are just getting started so not sure if we will go the DIY route or purchase something complete. Yours is certainly more aesthetically appealing and simpler than the other brands we’ve checked out. I like the options of buying the component parts if we decide to DIY. Thanks!
Hi. I’ve been looking for a dry/composting toilet for my 13’ Scamp. Yours fits the bill. I really like the color options. Will they be around in the next few months or are they being discontinued? I don’t want a white toilet. Also, my install will be in a wet bath. Any issues with that?
@@Maria-In-Motion Hi Maria, the deluxe Throne composting toilet can be used without a fan, but it comes with a pre-drilled hole on the back of the base to install the vent fan unit. You can close up the hole to make it more wet-bath compatible. The center of this 2.5" diameter hole is 5.5" above the floor. If you don't want to use this location, the hole can be covered with a plug similar to this: shorturl.at/1Pgrt But still, the hinge points would get water inside if it sat under running water.
Thanks! Because everyone's budget and DIY skills are different, we created options: we offer free plans to build your own toilet, the option to buy components such as the diverter a la carte, and we include a cut sheet with every diverter purchase so you can build your own compost toilet with a diverter that's easy to use and clean and fits within your own budget. With our years of experience with other composting toilets we've learned one thing: Accidents happen, and cleaning the blades on a closed opening isn't fun. With the Throne, #2 goes into the #2 hole without accidents, and you don't have to look at your (other others) poop because you are using covering material to soak up any moisture that may create smells. Hope that helps and let us know if you have any questions!
Affordable? NOT. For $860.00 it should be made of solid copper, not molded plastic. Compare the manufacturing cost of a porcelain toilet, this is ridiculous

I'm stunned that it's as affordable as it is. Sad cuz it's outra stock til Jan '25😢 but hopeful I'll acquire one someday.

That's what we thought as well! Let us know if you have any questions we can help you with :)

@@roaming.nomads.familyI thought I saw somewhere that it was wet bath friendly.
Can’t it be used without the vent fan?

@@thronecompostingtoiletGot it. Thank you for the info. I’ll keep looking for something compatible.
Why doesn’t it smell?
Congratulations, great design but for a piece of plastic it is pretty steep.

with the open part for number 2, this is a turn off for me.

Why copper?
