This song proves Abigail still remembers Rain. When Lance puts them into a distorted reality, you can see Abigail's face softening when she sees Lance in Rain's skin.
This was before her full corruption. By We are the Danger she had fallen to the Star's power.
@Prism no it isn't. Yes, she has absorbed the star by this point, but she isn't fully corrupted yet. If she was, then she wouldn't have reacted to seeing Rain.
Do you not remember that Naues absorbed it and killed her in hard pill to swallow? It means she no longer has the star
@Cup_Cake227 she has the star within her at this time. This takes place before we are the danger. Abigail is currently falling to the star's power. When we get to Hard Pill to Swallow, much farther down the line, then she no longer has it. But even during her fight against Lance we know she uses the star's power
Personally, I always saw it as this event lead her into thinking who she saw in “we are the danger” wasn’t Rain, since last she saw the actual Rain, he was zombified in front of her.
the fact she still remembers rain and doesnt let her guard down just shows how cold she became. this made me feel really sad
It seems the most probable reason for this and the theory that makes the most sense to me at least is she got corrupted by the nether star which is why she became basically mindless however keep in mind this is not confirmed nor disproven

If Abigail met Rain after she remembered she was the nether princess maybe the outcome in just so you know would've been different. Because before the nether star took over her she thought rain was dead or turned into a zombie.

This man has been making a whole story line for 4 years now and it’s never stoppped being impressive. I have rewatched everything more then 5 times at the minimum.
I love how eccentric and theatrical Lance is. I wish we got to see more of him before he turned into a frog.
War of the Ender Kingdoms. Love the End lore for Rain's series
Lances back story is when all of the end split up in to i think 8 diffrent islands there was 8 end crystels split into the 8 islands and lance stoodied magic and gathered his own army and tried to steal all the crystels but fled to the otherworld and stayed the using his magic and his plan was to wipe out the nether bane to reedem him self but they got there first
@tylerwalker7894 18 islands. 18 Crystals. 17 kingdoms. Lance spends 100+ years studying his end crystal and then calls a summit of the 8 major kingdoms (his is one of those 8) to gather the crystals and colonize the other dimensions. The 7 other major leaders mock him, and Lance gathers an army to take them by force. Within a few years, he has 9 crystals. 3 are with Arabella.
Matriarch Ceris gathers her kingdom as well as Gwendolyn's, Vordus's, and Zeganirn's kingdoms to stop Lance. It is unclear if they got the last 2 crystals that would be unaccounted for, but we can assume they did. This makes 6 crystals for the resistance (the Ender Watchers) and 9 for Lance. They defeat Lance, take his Crystals, and banish him to the overworld. 200 years pass and then this happens.
Arabella most likely has her 3 crystals still in some random place. New Dragonspire (end capital and base of the Watchers during Lance's rebellion and their home during the present time) is built for 12 crystals. We can assume the remaining 3 are with Gwendolyn somewhere in the dimensions.

@@enderreaper1482 Agreed, seems like the Overworld forgot that the End is the only reason they're still alive. Miraculously, they pulled this off in less than a few months in-world time. Their attention span is somehow ever shorter than the attention span of people today.

It is only after rewatching all the videos so far in order did I realize that Kane's purple eyes come from this fight when he stabs himself with the strange purple tipped arrow to get into the "memory" realm. Also, Ciara's teleporting blades were originally Lance's, hence why she was originally using a katana. It was only after Lance was defeated did she use his blades for herself. The planning and attention to detail is seriously incredible. All of my questions have been answered with each new upload.
Looks like she still had feelings for rain after they both died and even when they both fought

I like how when she saw "Rain" she was actually happy. It was the first time I noticed she still had some humanity. She's not evil, she just served an evil king and she did it well, wholeheartedly. I admire that.
(Edit) Wow this is easily the most any of my comments have ever been noticed. To add my side, I do believe that she absorbed the nether star. In begin again the pig king had it, then when her eyes turned white it was gone, and when her body was thrown into lava it came back. I think she wasn't evil, and maybe neither is Naeus. They just chose the wrong side, I guess.
Incorrect. In poison the star hasn't taken full control over her yet. So she still remembers. But in we are the danger she is fully taken over by the star. The Abigail rain new and loved was truly gone now.

Why are cane and Abigail just talking and Ciara is just on the floor dieing

why do I get the feeling about 3 things:
1. This happened between Begin Again and We are the danger
2. This explains the sequence in We are the danger where Abigail attacked Rain with no mercy
3. This is how Ciara got her weapon of the teleporting knife/scimitar things

this cant be between begin again and we are the danger tho, as during the end screen kane mentions a burning skeleton killing the coven, which happens in wither heart.

also remember that in wither heart they said that stella hasnt heard of the coven witches from the start of the undead reing, if netherkin stella is so dangerous, woudnt you eliminate all the coven witches as a start movement?, there, when they are dead, there is no one that can stop you

although, thes one chance she comes back in the present. You saw the epiloge right? Kane has the totem of undying, he puts it in the wither horses backpack, maybe when the horse goes to the nether with kanes stuff, abigail grabbed the totem, I mean, rain didnt showed that because yes, probably it is a forshadow of abigails return

Whats funny is that the voice actor for Kane is zane from aphmau and can i say it's so freaking awesome and you guys kept his personal liking for horses in this video and that makes it even more funny

I really like the attention to detail rain puts in his videos. Notice how in the Nether Princess' imagination thingy all the textures are before the 1.14 update wich truly shows that it is the past

Actual plot (confirmed by Rainimator)
Kane was lying. Abigal's crown was never in danger, the only reason why he asked her to go with him was that Lance had Totems of Undying for Ciara, and Lance was too powerful for just Kane to go. So Kane "tricked" Abigal into saving Ciara, which, changes the story by a lot.
