I agree. I randomly came across this only two years ago, but it was very easy to fall in love with these videos. Rainimator is underrated, and yes, I do know his subscriber count.

It's sad that Rain's animations don't have as many views as before. He has improved drastically in his animations for every new video he releases.
I think part of it is that the line seem to cliché and awkward sometimes

@@ybobseyer5684 You got a really good point there. Actually, I was one of Rainimator's subscribers who actually moved on from watching minecraft animations. I stopped watching Minecraft animations 3 years ago but not Minecraft in general since there are still a lot of memes about the game on my recommended list.
It wasn't until I got notified one day about Rain's new upload which was the "To The Void Instrumental" that I begin to resume watching Minecraft content again as a way to reminisce my childhood and Rainimator has been a part of it growing up. I have never been so happy for the growth of a Minecraft animator who has become successful in their yt channel and their content.

I've always wanted a music video deepening the minimum knowledge we have of the past with Rain and Abigail so this was no doubt one of my favourite music videos Rain has made, right under We Are The Danger.
There are so many details here that confirm and answer theories and questions. I really hope more videos like this that are based off of a character or more's past together just for a basic summary of their background.
There is more luck that Patrick had a childhood abusive (parents violents , abus etc…)wich explains his very strict and demanding side.
The fact that this series has been running for four years makes me feel so old. And as someone who grew up connecting to these characters, this hits way harder than it should.

This by far is one of my favorites because of how much it shatters my heart. Losing a loved one has always haunted me and I’ve lost a few. The story telling is incredible and character development is remarkable. I loved Their relationship from the beginning and I shattered knowing how fast it ended. ❤️

This adds even more depth to Abigail and Rain's relationship, which will make it even more emotional re-watching this series for the 19th time!

It hurt pretty bad since I got Stonewalled (Emotional abuse term, look it up) and I had trust issues before since in the past 17 years 12 of them have been messed up like hell with a lot of emotional traumas, so with another person breaking my trust and leaving me in the dirt my depression’s been realllllll bad, but I’m living and getting through it. :)

Like you can feel the emotion in the voice actors too and the animation itself is always great. Dang I’ve seen this one so many times and it still hits hard. I love the way he wrapped this up, since so many of us were hesitant to transfer from Abigail to Stella. This might be my favorite vid of the series.

- For me, this was the best video of the series. Rain remembering Abigail and finally feeling everything they've passed through shows us how bigger and exciting their life was. The characters are getting even more amazing than they already are; and all the animation is constantly growing and advancing.

To my knowledge from following this series at the original cold as ice, the glow showed he had a small bit of corruption killing him from the inside. That’s the entire reason they went through wit the wither heart episode I think. I could be wrong so feel free to correct me.

@@bloodbrothers6556 I realized there's a "but" on it... In the end of the episode, when Stella cures Rain, the glow in his eye came back to the normal (shiny). So that means it wasn't the curse, but just him healthy. What do you think of it?

@@puggoman902 he didn't get hacked, basically what happened was he was hired by some group to make animations on that channel, but then after a few years of that the group that hired him just fired him and kept the channel since it was theirs to begin with.

@jediworx you know, the more I think about it, I might have come up with something that makes sense. He was with when the end fell. So naturally, he must think all the people from the end are dead. This makes a lot of sense, this was the first real chance for Dragon Tamer(Rain) to stop and *Think* about Abigail since the first encounter with her as the nether princess. He never really got to process what happened, first rushing off to stop her, then fighting for his(or someone else's) life, then immediately leaving to fight the Piglin King, Porkshire.
I didn't even notice that the premiere was already scheduled. We will be waiting! 🦆🌸
I honestly didn’t now what to think. I knew the original story of why Kyle wrote the song and was unsure if you’d stray from the somber meaning or keep it. You kept it and I think this is amazing. Rain finally is at pace and ready to move on.
In fact, the plot is very worked out, and makes you feel in the place of the main character, understand his pain and the realization that a person close to you, with whom you have experienced so many events, and now you need to let him go, and live on, sad, very sad....
I am very impressed with the flashbacks in this. I love how he showed flashbacks all the way to the first episode. What happened to that armor Rain was wearing, and even more so that sword, it just disappeared after like two episodes. I would love to see him use that armor and sword again. So, I guess this finally closes the book on Abigail's story, but I just got to say am I the only one who thought that they were going to use the totem of undying that Cane and Abigail got from Lance in the episode "Poison" to revive Abigail at some point, but I guess this removes that possibility. I'm glad that Stella is in the picture now, and maybe that totem will instead get used by Rain to save her at some point. About the flashbacks to before the series. Why is who I'm assuming is Abigails mother look like she's from the nether, and why is she giving Abigail the nether star. If she is the nether queen, then I guess that ACTUALLY makes Abigail the nether Princess. I always thought she was the nether princess just because King Naeus took her body after she was killed by Herobrine and took her to the nether and brainwashed her into thinking she was the nether princess, just so she would eventually die and Naeus could take her powers through the nether star and become king himself. But I guess that's not true, instead the reason he brought her there was because she REALLY IS the nether princess. And I surprised nobody knew that, or at least it doesn't seem like anybody knew that, including Rain, and she doesn't even seem to know this until Naeus reminds her, despite what happens here. I definitely think Rain and Stella are perfect for each other. I'm also glad to see Hogsworth return again, even though he's just a prisoner now. Finally, I wonder if Lance will go to back to his real form, and we can see him fight again, I am also glad to see him kind of return in this episode, Lance is one of my favorites. Lastly the only thing I'm not happy about the flashbacks is that we didn't get a glimpse at Herobrine. I would love to see Herobrine again, either as a flashback, or if he is revived. Does anyone remember how he used to be the Main Antagonist of this series in the first season? I just miss Herobrine. We haven't seen him since "Hard pill to swallow when Naeus took his head back to the nether and put it in a trophy case, or something, and also took his powers as well. I guess that was meant to be the end to his story unfortunately. There was just too much to say about this episode, AMAZING WORK RAINIMATOR, DEFINITLY MY NEW FAVORITE EPISODE, and also HUGE NASTOLGIA.

Abigail finally ended and he finally can get some sort of closure. Plus Stella is definitely a nice pick for him. Though can't wait for an episode where all the videos are animated together for a nostalgia mash up 😭

Ik this has nothing to do with the current story, but I'm reminded of the times Abigail and Rain had in the vids of Rainimator's old channel and that bit of extra old history just made this hurt even more
(and Woo! you can see a clear improvement in the animation compared to the animation in vids like just so you know or we are the danger)
This song makes me cry when Abigail hugs Rain and disappears. Plus how does he easily get girlfriends.

I know right! I've been following these videos for years, and I remember when Rain first "died". This video hits especially hard for all those that had to wait that time to find out he was alive, and been following his journey for this long.
This is bringing back some nostalgia to the first video in this series, The Struggle. I remember watching it and I loved seeing how your animations have improved since then. I can't believe that video was posted 4 years ago! Great work! It's a true journey watching how this story develops.

Man... 4 years ago the only reason I clicked on the 'Cold as Ice' animation when it got recommended to me was Lord Patricks model/skin. I have never expected that I would turn to love this Minecraft MV series as much as I do.
Kind of a shame that (no offense) it's a *Minecraft* animation as some people may be put off by that when one of these videos ends up on their recommended page.
