i belive she did not, but she returned a few years later to another version of X-factor and then she won.

OMG, you are the first video I've seen that picks up on her natural flanger effect. I've even missed it and I've seen this video 100's of times. Now that I have seen and heard this at 5:48 of your video I can tell what she does, (without thinking of doing it). I can hear her nasal cavity for lack of better terms, switching sides to produce a flange effect. Thank you so much for having such an ear to hear it where I missed it. I am truly a fan of Aida. I have just not ever been able to put a finger on her amazing ability.

Can you show or like tell me how she does it because I want to learn it?

@@kingexcellence I don't think it can be taught. I think it is more in line with her genetics.

@@daivdash Thanks, you explained she switches with her nasal cavity just wondering what that means.

@@kingexcellence well I'm not a doctor so I don't know the correct terms but our sinuses connect in our throats and we can close them off , so you can breath either through your nose or mouth or both. It sounds like she can close and open each side individually causing a basic stereo switching. Not the best explanation of what she does, but for lack of knowledge the best I can do

I very much doubt it is a natural effect. Much more probably the production put some reverb on her (and all other contestants') mics ... look at that tiny, packed studio, acoustics there must be horrible. So you add reverb to simulate a larger venue with proper acoustics.

A nice hello to you Christine. That's a very interesting reaction. I think she's just too good for this judges. She sings sooooooo well. Thanks for doing this reaction. For me she was unknown, like her style. Love and peace. 😘 ❤ ❤ ❤

I thought any manipulating of the voice was illegal in competition, otherwise everyone would sound perfect. Her vibrato is very strong and steady throughout. What a beautiful performance and amazed she wasn't rattled when they asked her to sing acapella. I hope she won!

I'm glad the judges stopped her. She sounds even better acapella, the track was a bit distracting, at least to a non-musician like me. It is also part of what made her video go viral, otherwise I and many others may have never heard her.

Second hello to you Christine. I mean the judges in Russia are not very well about music. We saw that also when Diana was yodelling. When there are singers with special voice technique they are confused. 😂😂

sad how shes only now (then) at age 29 finding her voice. i wonder if she always knew she could sing or is it something she discovered later . for the longest this clip didn't have the english translation.

There are some people who don't have very strong reactions, they show their emotions rather inside than outside. I'm one of them. Amazement can furthermore sometimes literally make speechless. Maybe she has simply heard and seen many 'one of a kind' humans, too, Idk. Example: apparantly Bruce Lee was able to do 200 push-ups with his knuckles or something.

I'd like to give my opinion about the judges thinking she brought some kind of device with her: A singer can't bring vocal processing or a vocal effect with them to an audition, it would have to be done by the X-Factor engineer in the back room with his equipment and the engineer and the X-factor company would have had to approve of it before the audition, also Aida would have known about it. Those judges would know what I stated so how could they suspect her of using an effect if it wasn't staged? I do have my suspicions, I don't know what occurred, I'm simply giving my opinion based on my knowledge and experience.
