Love chatting with y'all and this video was fun to film and edit! I enjoy the casual chats and I totally want to do them more often. Thanks for always supporting my channel and family! Also Happy Father's Day to any Father's out there! 💙
This video was so fun! I watched it with my morning coffee and it felt like we were catching up. I love anything you share and appreciate the realness! 💛
Hey Michele! I started watching you years ago when you were doing teacher content. Actually, you inspired me to become an Art Teacher! I've always wanted to be a teacher, and Art is where I landed! I'm currently in school now working on my Art Ed degree. I was looking for a career change, I felt God leading me, & my husband supported (s) me 110 %!!! So, I decided to take the leap! So thank you! I still watch your videos, even though I'm not a mom, and that is because of your positivity, creativity, and your lifestyle! I am very happy for you all! - Amy
This made my heart soooo happy!!!! You seriously made my day. And love that you still watch. I don’t film it but I still very much love my job and think it’s amazing. I wish you all the best of luck with teaching !! Teaching art is so fun !
Agree 9months after postpartum you feel somewhat back in the game, and I am speaking from 13 yrs ago my youngest. Your life completely changes and you evolve somehow. Love your vlogs and I've been subscribed for a long time. 💖
Yes it’s crazy it takes so long but that’s probably when I really first started to feel myself , even though as you know there are some things that are just changed forever haha!
I started watching you a few years ago when I was a teacher. I’ve since left teaching, but you’re one of the teachers I still follow on UA-cam because I love what you share. Thank you!
Curious to what you’re doing now after teaching? I’m comfy where I’m at but I know many teachers are leaving. Thank you so much for sticking around and continuing to support my channel !! ❤️
Hi! I am also a teacher and a new mom to a 7 month old baby boy! I subscribed a couple years ago for your teaching content, but started watching more consistently during your pregnancy and new mom journey. It feels nice to be able to relate to both of those aspects. Personally, I enjoy the lifestyle, home, and motherhood content most. Especially because maintaining active friendships seems challenging at this stage of life. Your videos really help brighten my day to day- especially because of your calm and relaxed vibe. Thank you for pushing through even if it feels like no one is watching! ❤️
Love this! I’m glad you can relate and omg congrats on your baby!!! I love connecting with other mamas that are similar - I totally understand the friendship thing. Thank you for the sweet words and watching all this time
Hi Michele, good for you that you're already in your summer holidays, soak up all your family time. I still have to deal with three more weeks, then I'm off too and let me tell you I'm ready! 🌞 I think it's great that you decide to take it more casual. When I first read the title of the video, I was scared that you might stop doing youtube altogether, so now I'm really relieved. Give my love to your family and your pets. 🐈 Have a wonderful day!
I’ve considered it a time or too since Rosie. It’s just harder! But I really think I’d miss it. Talking with my community after this video has helped motivate me to keep going for sure. Thanks for your continued support! ❤️
Love this. Post whatever makes you happy. I started watching because of your dad. I worked with him and he was always so proud of you. Now that I am retired, I don’t get to hear updates directly from him so here I am! I truly enjoy all the fun projects and watching your family grow. I started gardening because of you.
Awwwww ❤️❤️❤️❤️ he spoke a lot about you! Omg I’m so happy about how you started to garden that’s so exciting. I’ll have to bring more gardening life to this channel because we can’t keep up with 2 haha! And that’s a huge hobby for me. Thanks for following along ❤️ Hope retirement is treating you well!
As a newer mom myself (just getting to watch this now), I can confirm that the simpler, more organic vlogs are the ones I’m drawn to. The casual, slower videos are calming to those of us in the fast paced mommy life 😂
I agree that’s what I’ve been watching too. I can’t handle mom vlogs that aren’t realistic anymore. I just can’t relate ! Are you a stay at home mom or working mama?
@@MicheleRose Exactly! It’s nice to see someone out there going through the same things - my little girl is just a few months older than Rosemary! I work, but thankfully my job is very flexible and I get to have a lot of work from home days! I used to be a teacher though and miss those summers off something bad!
@@MicheleRose Also, since I’m from WV, I can relate to you so much more than other west coast mommas I like to watch. & just know when I say your videos are calming…I mean - last year my husband and I got a piece of family propriety, put a double wide on it, and then had a baby girl…so watching you is comforting in a sense because it’s the exact same phase of life!
Love your videos and vlogs! I’ve been watching since the beginning. Started by following you on the teacher gram 💜 Thank you for always being you! You’re doing great mama
That’s so sweet and I’m SOOOO glad you’re still here. I feel like the people who followed me from the beginning know me - like if we met in real life y’all would be my people lol. So I’m glad you stuck around to see my life change and grow ❤️
I started watching two or three years ago because I wanted to be a teacher, now I am in my final year of my credential program. I also follow your homesteading channel! I just love your personality and the values/lifestyle that you share with us :) (also you are the only person I will sit through ads for lol)
Hi, I started watching you for teacher content, especially how you organized and ran your class. I will be honest, I do miss that stuff and don't watch the family vlogs often but I think you should be you and create what brings you joy! :) Create the videos that work for you and your lifestyle and don't worry about anyone else's opinion. 😊 take care!
I started watching you for your art teacher content. I am going back to school for Art Education. I still watch for your other content because I am a mama also, to 2 young daughters. You are relatable and your channel has been one of my favorites for a while. 💕
Hey. Thanks for the video today. I don't know when I started watching you but I really enjoy your videos. They are casual and relaxing. It's nice to see a mom that is relatable l.
I started watching more than 3 years ago as I’m a primary school teacher in the UK (I teach 10-11 year olds) and one of my favourite subjects to teach is Art. I am not a new mother, but a mother of teenagers and became invested in you, so continued to watch as your content changed.
I'm a 1st grade ESL teacher in Virginia and we just had our first baby June 15th :) I just discovered your channel probably about a month ago. I love your vlogs- they are so relatable! I watched your 2-week newborn video the other day and it seemed similar in a lot of ways to my days right now. Hope you're having a great summer!
Aww yay a fellow teacher ! Love it! So glad you found my channel. June 15! How exciting! How have things been going now that you’re a little farther along ? Those first 2 weeks are tough!
@@MicheleRose Around about 3 weeks or a month he has some days where he's awake more throughout the day and other days where he seems to sleep well and take normal lengthed naps. But he's pretty unpredictable! I love being a mom. It is so all-consuming, it's crazy. He also seems to get irritable when it's the end of the day/evening he kind of struggles.
Casual videos are more enjoyable for me! Keep your content the same without needing to shiny it up too much. 😊 more easy and simple videos are better than fewer done up and fancily edited. Plus I just wait til you start talking anyways 😄 I started watching you when you did an elementary school classroom set up series a long time ago. I also love your Berry Mountain channel but I know you’re sooo busy. I’d love to see some of that content on here even just with you and Tony filming a sit down update every few months on what’s happened around the property. I think your choices as a couple have been so smart financially and healthy and simple!
I told him we should just sort of bring some of that to this channel- I love your idea and totally agree! I love inspiring others to garden and everything too! Thanks so much for your support and watching since the classroom set up days!!
@@MicheleRose that would be awesome! Family/mommy life but also about raising a child close to nature and all the simple things in life. Love your content always!
I started watching you when we were both pregnant! I have a 8 month old girl. Love your mom content and casual real life vlogs! Also, random but I’m obsessed with the song that’s been in your recent vlogs. Idk what it is though!
Awww 8 months old! So close to Rosie! I’m so glad you’re here ❤️ I get my music from epidemic sound it’s like copyright free music if you have the subscription. If you give me a lyric or something I can probably figure it out for ya!
You've always been good about responding to comments here. :) I started watching you on UA-cam for the teacher stuff but had a baby not too long before you so I can still relate. I haven't even commented on anything on your insta since I haven't followed you as long there compared to here. And simple is always good!
Hii!!! I love the idea of community! I started following you when I was pregnant for ideas and love your whole aesthetic and life style since we are similar.
I don't remember when I started watching your channel, but I found you bc of your teacher content. I have found that I can't really watch that stuff anymore after working in the classroom all day. I'm burnt out and I turn to UA-cam for different content now. So I really enjoy your home content and vlogs the most. I rarely comment or like on any videos I watch. I think bc I don't feel like the creators really interact much with the comments. (Just my experience!) But I love your IG stories and always watch them and will sometimes reply.

I’ll respond though ! Dms can be easy which is why I think people do it. Or like the reply feature on stories. Regardless love that you’ve followed along since the teacher says. I’m so glad you’re still here!
I enjoy what you post on UA-cam and your art projects and ideas have been helpful to me as a teacher. I would have never known about International Dot Day if it weren't for you. Feel free to post whatever your heart likes because many of us appreciate and love what you do. Take care.
